Burger King

Happened into this BK with a taste for something good, fast and cheap. There is a «specials» menu on the right side of the counter wall. Always ask for discount menu at ANY fast food joint! Burger, fries and tiny drink for € 2. Other offerings at 2,3,4 and 5 €. The main menu board starts with higher prices. Plenty of seating near streetside windows is nice, too.

burgerking, the a there will be thrilled the other there will be happy. Personally I find this a mediocre burgerking reasons for this are: bad Dutch speaking staff, not always customer-​friendly and often are the tables still full of remnants of the previous guest. In contrast to that, I have nothing negative about the food.

Comme en France, Burger King est quasi inexistant, un petit tour à celui de Leidseplein fait toujours du bien ;-)
Le fast food est propre, il y a la TV, jamais vu dans d’autres !?! Les burgers sont très bons et bien gras ;-)

It’s a burger king

Although I am not really of big fan of Burger Joints, I wandered into one when I was with my grandson. Children all over the world are crazy about American fast food joints. My grandchildren are no different.
On a recent trip to Amsterdam with my husband, son and grandson, we do everything together doing the tourist rounds, checking out all the places except when dining., we go our separate ways.
On our last day my son wanted to go to the gym in the hotel to work out so my husband & I the took him to the park where he romped around with other kids playing in the swing and the slides, took a lot of pictures, bought some souvenirs at the shop near the park then we ended up… at Burger King.
Let me tell you, the place was crowded, teeming with children & adults alike and the lines were long but it was a huge place right in the center of Leidseplein which is a tourist place. There was also a 2^nd floor area which was very spacious and which the WC (Toilets) are also located., The staff were very pleasant & courteous ended up ordering everything from the Burgers, Fries, Nuggets & Soda, and everything was surprisingly good. Prices were a bit pricey but isn’t everything pricey nowadays?. The burgers are grilled to perfection, and the vegetables were very fresh… Not bad at all, Haven’t had any burger in the states for such a long time and I have to come to Amsterdam to have it again… Now I am a fan.

Not a bad Burger King. Good for if you need something fast. There are some seats downstairs but a lot more upstairs so make sure to look there.

Eine B. K Filiale wie ich es mir vorstelle ;-) Bedienung schnell, und freundlich! Burger heiß und lecker ;-) so wie sie halt schmecken sollten!!! Pommes knackig! Wenn der Heißhunger auf Burger ein überkommtist diese B. k Filiale in Amsterdam die richtige Adresse. Kleiner Tip: oben hinsetzen:-)super Blick auf den Leidseplain (siehe Foto) wo immer irgendwelche Künstler auftretenund die Menschen begeistern:-)

On a trip for one day to Amsterdam, my girlfriend and I wanted to try this famous fast food we don’t have in France.
The burgers are way better and bigger than the ones from Mc Do or Quick (the French Mc Do…) because the steaks are grilled and there is much more salad and onions.
On the other side, the price is more expensive and Burger King (maybe it’s just an issue in Amsterdam) does misleading publicity because we paid much that the price indicated on the board. Beside, the stairs are difficult to climb !
