A little small, even more so when crowded. Variety of flavors, Sugar Free too… Yes! Split and share with your loved one

You can never go wrong with Luna Rosa. Great flavors! My family from PA makes us stop every time they are in town. Love it!

We had an odd experience with dinner, and another one at Luna Rosa. The layout/process at Luna Rosa doesn’t make sense. When you enter the door, you have to immediate turn left. You can see the gelato case, but you are encouraged to go past the case to order a size cup/cone. I hadn’t even really looked at the flavors and I have to pick my size? Uh, ok. So we pay — for gelato I really haven’t seen — and are handed our receipt for the sizes we ordered. I now walk two feet to my right where I hand the receipt to a different person. These two workers are basically standing next to each other. The subsequent flavor request/hand back of gelato was pretty militaristic — I commented to my wife that we got barked at. From walking in to paying to getting your geltato you’ve sorta made a U at the front of the store. If you want to sit down in the store, you now have to walk back again to the tables. I’m no queuing expert, but the whole process seemed odd. When more people walked in behind us, they were instructed to queue toward the back of the restaurant. Maybe the layout is residue from a prior restaurant? Last little item — walking out the front door(after getting gelato) they have water in a glass jug. They only have cone-shaped water cups with pointed bottoms. If you have a cup of gelato with a spoon, how exactly am I supposed to manage a cone-shaped cup that I can’t put down? Maybe there were handy holder trays on the tables that were awkward to get back to, but instead I went thirsty and out the front door. Oh — the gelato was just ok. Multiple flavors(black chocolate was pretty good, and the ‘intense espresso flavored gelato’ was… not at all intense), just ok. My kids, who are usually pretty easy graders, did not love their gelato either. (Yelp, there should be some sort of calibration across geographic locations… this is a 2 or 3 at best compared to top-notch gelato places around the country…)

We stopped here for a bite to eat while exploring downtown visiting some friends. My husband picked this restaurant because of his enormous sweet tooth and I’m glad he did! Really clean place with nice intimate atmosphere, the seating area inside is not the biggest, but there’s outdoor seating which is perfect for a nice day. We both ordered paninis which were really delicious. I got the meatball parmigiana and my husband got the prosciutto. We of course had to complete our meal with a gelato. It was absolutely delicious! Overall, I’m so happy we came here, the staff was friendly, the food and gelato were delicious, great local spot in Downtown Greenville!

Lauren and Sky were our wait staff. Incredibly attentive and friendly. Incredible pear salad and sausage roll(special for today). Lemon lime smoothie was phenomenal. I definitely recommend.

I can only attest to the Gelato, it is delicious. Just extremely good. The lady at the counter is always friendly, and did I mention how delicious the Gelato is? The flavors are always changing, and every surprise is a pleasant one. You must go here.

An amazing restaurant disguised as a Gelato Café! Don’t be fooled into thinking that this is a run of the mill café! Quite contrary! I was surprised to find a sophisticated menu with Italian roots with offerings such as home made lasagna, meatball panini, cajun shrimp salad and so so so so much more! The service is always welcoming and friendly and this is a family owned joint with the son in law running the FOH. Obviously there is only one way to end a meal at this café and that is with gelato and a real deal espresso to wash it down. YUM!

Today was the first and probably last time, that I will visit Luna Rossa. You can definitely tell that the gelato had been sitting there for quite a while, and was probably a little freezer burnt. Compared to other places that I have been to across the country, this gelato was just«meh». Could have been more flavorful, not very creamy. Plus, the girl who works there didn’t give me the proper change back, and I didn’t notice until I got home. I called about it, and will receive the money that is owed to me, tomorrow. Customer service wasn’t that great either. When we asked to try a few samples of the gelato, the girl said«okay let’s pick a size first, then you can try as many samples as you like.“As if we were going to try every one of the samples and not buy anything. Please. Anyway, not impressed and I will not be returning.

Friendly staff, every time I come I learn something about them and they learn something about me. The food is amazing, and don’t even get started on the gelato! It’s amazingly fresh, don’t let the mid range price scare you off, you get your money’s worth.

GREATGELATO + GREATGUYSERVINGGELATO = GREATCUSTOMERREVIEW what a better way to celebrate a great day of geocaching than with a cup of lime gelato and a taste of Moscow Mule gelato! Thanks for the great belly stuffer! Hope Wofford can be another gig in the future!

We stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant when we noticed their sign for soup as my wife had a soup craving. What a fabulous family-owned café! We were delighted with our server — who brought samples of soup(the roasted tomato-eggplant bisque was scrumptious). I had the Chicago steak panini with Caramelized onions — it was so good I kept closing my eyes and savored every bite. My wive had the portobello panini which she devoured even though she was stuffed after a cup of soup and the first half. Our server brought us samples of gelato to our table — heaven. We managed to make room for a cup to share and waddled out happy campers. If we were local this would quickly become a regular stop when downtown. Lucky Greenville-ites :) come hungry!

Cute lil’ joint in downtown Greenville. A nice change and fun flavors. Service was ok, not the friendliest, not the most welcoming. Went in with a stroller and that was no fun(too small). You pay before you get your gelato. They allow you to try a few flavors before picking one, which is nice of them, but all ice cream places do that. So, nothing to rave about. I’ve been here once and I don’t care to go again, but I would go back if i was in the area or if a friend wanted to go. Not somewhere or something i’d go out of my way for. I mean, overall, it’s just ok.

With a bigger flavor roster than your usual gelato spot, this is a nice option just off the strip where your only frozen dessert options are chains. Went with Captain Crunch, chocolate bday cake, bday cake, and a couple others from the friendly but impatient staffer.

Okay, the gelato is a fun change of pace, but the people behind the counter were kind of grumpy. Not a welcoming atmosphere at all. When you come in, they just snap at you and tell you to go around the corner to pick your item size and pay. Then, when you roll around the counter to see what interests you they just kind of stand there and give you a few samples, if you ask. When you give you order, they make it and pass it to you over the counter. Then, get out of the way for the next person. It’s not bad gelato, but certainly not a memorable experience.

We came in here on a hot Friday night in August and surprisingly there was no line. The lady at the counter asked us if we had been there before and we said no. She kindly walked us through the process. There are many flavors to choose from at Luna Rosa(up to 30). There are some regular fruity flavors as well as flavors like Khalua and Baileys Irish Cream. The gelato itself is smooth and tasty. Luna Rosa is pretty much on par with Marble Slab as far as price goes. However I would definitely prefer the flavors of Luna Rosa over Marble Slab.

This is a great spot for gelato. Fresh and unique flavors. Open late! The process: 1) Pick out the size that you want(1 scoop, 2 scoops, etc) 2) Pay for that size 3) Taste as many flavors as you want. 4) Pick your favorite(or 2 if you get 2 scoops) 5) Enjoy! Minus one star for the minimal parking situation.

Spitzen-Eisdiele mit ausreichend großer und saisonal wechselnder Eisauswahl. Die Preise sind verglichen zu deutschen recht hoch. Dafür kann man soviel man will probieren.
