Not everyone’s into juice. .. or all fresh & organic ingredients, for that matter. However. If you are – or if you haven’t given it a try yet but either a) care about your health or b) enjoy fresh food – then you should really give Southern Pressed a try. I’m not a die-hard juicer, but I’ve now had probably a dozen of their juices, a few of their smoothies, and all of their energy bowls. I even did a three-day cleanse. Here’s the thing. I’ve been to several juiceries or juice bars in different states. Here’s what tends to happen: Either the place is more like a GNC health style place, has nothing resembling«fresh» on hand and, as a result, serves multiple versions of metallic powder water(not my thing, as you probably guessed) Or the place smells like a garden when you enter, clerks have dreads, and. .. everything tastes awful. Like, I must be building character as part of sucking this down.(Also not my jam.) Difference about Southern Pressed is that they manage to be both super fresh and surprisingly delicious. And there’s a huge range of flavor, from their Hot Mess(cayenne, lemon, grapefruit, ginger, etc) to Luca Lovin(almonds, dates, coconut) to Hippie Lettuce(romaine, pear, kale, lime) to Root Shine(beet, orange, tarragon, mint). I love each of those and many others. Only drawback is that everything is pricey. Might be expected for this kind of freshness and downtown location, but I know I’ve heard from others in big cities that you can get lower prices when you have more competition that’s on the same level of quality. If that day hits GVL, it will be a good sign. Until then, Southern Pressed is your place for juice.

Visiting from Orlando and read about SPJ online and wanted to check it out. Tuesday afternoon, cold overcast day and not many people out in downtown Greenville. That must have been the reason for the complete lack of «Southern Charm» from the woman at the counter. After asking her a few questions, she recommended a smoothie called the founding fathers. Good smoothie but definitely not worth the $ 10 price tag. Maybe if she had been more pleasant I would have not« Unilocaled.». The juice business is big & full of competition, heck, you can get cold-pressed juice at your local grocer for a lot less green. Reminder-Great customer service will always keep you ahead of the pack.

Good smoothies & friendly staff! It is expensive though! I got the goodness gracious and my BF got the honeysuckle dew(I think). I got mine cause it was vegan but his has honey it in, but they will gladly take it out for you! Come & try this place for a relaxing atmosphere :) PS great place for vegans !

First time there this morning! Cool vibe the moment you open the door! I enjoyed the energy bowl(Mama’s Jam) and a turmeric shot! More than happy with my choices! It will now be on my must do list each time I’m in Greenville!

I love, love, love a cold pressed juice. Furthermore, I love a well-appointed shop and this one was above and beyond beautifully designed. Upon walking in, the staff was extremely accommodating and eager to explain the benefits of cold press vs. centrifugal juicing. They even juice-nerded out with me on topics from rare ingredients to under loved combinations to surprising health benefits. But holy cow, that price tag. $ 9 – 11? Yeeeeeeeeoouch! While I’m definitely still a fan, this went from a daily drop in obsession to a once a month luxury when upon signing and tipping I realized I was more than tripling my previously considered expensive 3rd wave coffee habit. So wonderful and beautiful and delicious, but until my Bingo addiction finally rakes in the big bucks(as we all know it will), this will only be a once in a while treat.

$ 11 dollars for pre-made juice? Tastes fine but it is astronomically overpriced. I will continue to go to earthfare on Pelham road where I get the same thing, made to order, for $ 4.

Soooo glad to see a juice bar in SC! I’m back visiting from Scottsdale, AZ where we have them everywhere and randomly saw this place and stopped in. All of the juices I tasted were delicious. Latin Lover and Luca Lovin were my favorites. Also bought the raw yogurt. Will have to try the smoothies next! Can’t go wrong here Update: Yes it’s expensive. I would have definitely been here every day while home if it were a little less pricey, but I also know that, to an extent, you get what you pay for. Good produce and such isn’t cheap. Do I think it should be more like $ 8? Yes. Do I think it should be $ 4? Honestly, I would be worried about the quality of the ingredients if it were that cheap
