«Not a 4 star hotel» Came here during our New Year’s holiday, reserved through Agoda, it seemed a good hotel at first, yes the reviews were not all positive but the hotel was started in 2014 so we were sure that there were glitches to be fixed. Staff performance was good, they all were helpful and tried to cover for the shortcomings of the hotel as much as possible, unfortunately some points cannot be hidden and this is why in the end we were quite dissatisfied. The rooms are tiny, on the night of the 31st the fire alarm started going off randomly(there was a party in the restaurant and apparently it was too crowded and that was setting of the alarms during the night), they did not clean our room for 2 consecutive days, we had to beg them to do it on the third day. Fortunately they gave us a room at the back of the hotel, otherwise we couldn’t have slept from the noise that you get in Rembrandtplein. All of these points coupled with a charge of more than 200 euro a night and 4 star hotel expectations get them a poor evaluation on our behalf, if they were charging a more considerate amount the score would have been a bit higher.
