We got to Amsterdam and only stayed the night. The ladies in the front were very accommodating and made us feel very at home. They even helped us look for places to eat Dutch food or where to shop and what to do. Very lovely people. The food was incredible. The breakfast that was served for those staying was more than expected and what was asked for. The rooms themselves were so beautiful and chic and fit the mood of Amsterdam beautifully, in my opinion. The bed itself knocked me out the second I slipped in! Overall, fantastic experience! Thanks, guys and girls!

I liked this hotel a lot! It was really cute and cozy and the staff was super sweet. I also loved how it was in the heart of the city so we didn’t even need to use a car at all, we could walk everywhere :) the rooms a little small, but it’s Europe so bigger is not really expected!

***Great Hotel*** –Great Location –Great Service –Free Wireless –Easy Access to central Amsterdam locations and on a very active square. The location is as good as it gets, if you stay in a square facing room you will have a great view. I can’t offer much on television as we didn’t use it except for curiosity. The room was clean and daily freshened up. Our view was spectacular. The bathroom was very well done and extremely clean. The staff were cordial and helpful to us. The bar was worth returning to, as it alone could be a tourist attraction. The interior is lovely and has stained glass, wood finishes, brass trims etc. The beers were great, they make me want to return to Amsterdam. Since having the on tap seasonal La Chouffe beer, my «beer standards» have been raised. We had a couple beers here in the café every day here for 5 days straight. The bartenders each had the perfect professional demeanor. We never ate a full meal here but we had apple pie and other snacks all were delicious. I anticipate my next stay here like returning to another distant home.

After a long day of sight seeing in Amsterdam, I needed sustenance and some shelter since it started to rain. I was in Rembrandt square which had many hotels and eateries and saw a dinner special for mussels and fries! Yum. The last time I had great mussels and fries was when I was in Rhode Island at a place near Brown University. The restaurant is part of the hotel. The bread and butter were fresh and delicious. I love the sodas in Europe because they come in small glass bottles and use sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. Unfortunately soda is more expensive than wine or beer. The mussels were delicious and the fries were good too. The mussels came in a big pot and the broth was fantastic. Overall the food was good and I’d go back again if I were in Rembrandt Square.
