This place was truly bad. I ordered ribs and my partner fish. It took forever to get the food and it wasn’t very good
The ribs were dry and they tried to hide that with glaze but it was obvious the ribs weren’t marinated and cooked properly. The fish came with a totally uninspired salad.
Maybe it’s a nice lounge to hang out in — but as a restaurant they failed.

Went for lunch with my wife.
Soggy nachos to start. Her burger was overly salty and straight from a packet. My mixed grill was prepackaged too, the steak was completely overdone despite asking for it rare.
Dirty menus, dirty table and had I seen the toilets before ordering I wouldn’t have even had a drink in the place.

I came to this club with a date after strolling around the area trying to pick somewhere to walk into. This place is for a mature and hip crowd. There’s plenty of space for dancing, lounging, and the bar makes some good drinks. Typical prices from cover to tab.
Every part of this place seemed well-​thought out and designed to be a part of the club. This is a good place to come with your friends if you’re looking for a dance club that isn’t all crazy and sweaty like some of the others.

The best thing about this place is the location. With its outdoor patio and perfect people-​watching view of Rembrandt Square, it’s an ideal place to have lunch and watch the bicyclists whiz by.
Compared to other restaurants and pubs in Amsterdam, this one was the priciest. I just had a Shrimp Tempura Maki salad for € 10.50, but my whole salad tasted fishy. I washed it down with an Amstel, of course. My husband had the stir-​fried chicken with veggies over rice for € 14.50, which I thought was pricey for the small serving size. Unlike some other cities in Europe, Amsterdam is typically much more affordable. Had we been in Paris or London, Rain’s prices would have been considered normal.
The food was just okay and service was somewhat inattentive. If you’re looking for great food, I suggest Three Sisters or Escape across the street, or The Old Bell next door.
