I wanted to like you, Green Butterfly. Really I did. You looked warm and welcoming, you had those quirky lampshades. I admit, you got me at a bad time — I was hungry, cold, and tired. My expectations were set high. But still, I got the feeling you didn’t just fail to meet them. It’s like you didn’t even try. From the overpriced, utterly underseasoned pasta dish, to the lo-​o-​ong wait for service from start to finish, the whole experience was mediocre at best.

Perfect little café in Amsterdam! I have heard the staff (including cooks) is mostly students so that on any given day the food can be different, but on the occasions I have stopped in it has been nothing short of delicious! Charming little pub with plenty to eat and drink at really reasonable prices! Seating outside is great when the weather is nice, and inside, although on the small side, is to me, more enjoyable as a cozy and quaint space. Also free WiFi. Will be back soon!

One of my favorite pubs in De Pijp district. The area is very busy during daytime because of the market, but at night this pedestrians street is quiet and ideal to enjoy a beer outdoor, when the weather allows it.
