Applebee’s

Came back today with a group of friends for dinner. We were excited to see that our previous server, Eleni, was there and sat in her section. She recommended the Grilled Onion Sirloin with their new gravy sauce as a twist to the classic steak dish. It was delicious! Thanks Eleni for another awesome night! :)

I went there craving for a good burger, I was very disappointed. The worst burger I have ever eaten, very very dry and tasteless. When you charge $ 9 for a burger it should at least be edible.

Came back to Applebees after coming by last week and brought my wife to meet the wonderful bartender here named Sarah. We don’t often get to go out just the two of us but it was nice to have the conversation Sarah was able to give us. My wife is a picky eater but Sarah made several suggestions for my wife which made it even easier for us to enjoy the evening. My wife agrees that we will be back more often because of the service we got from Sarah.

This location in particular stands out because of the staff! The bartenders and wait staff are all on Point. Friendly, fast, and down to earth!

Me and my friends were here, Tereza is the waitress she is really awesome. Had great time.

I am so disappointed in Applesbees. Is it just me or was the food much better a few years ago? The service was awesome but the food sucked. Literally no options for a vegetarian (other than salad). Reaaaaaallly disappointed in the pasta options. The only good thing is the artichoke dip.

I’m surprised the ratings are so low. Every time I’ve eaten here it’s been great, service and food. Always like the deals and combinations offered, especially the 2/​$ 20 options. I’ve usually gone when it’s not so busy though.

Got food poisoning =Applebee’s Union Landing.
This is the second time getting sick at this location. I will be eating somewhere else from now on.

I eat here at least once a week. This Apple Bee’s is way better than the one in Hayward. The staff is much nicer. The food is good. I always order the American burger, Buffalo wings and a basket of fries. There has been a couple of times where I’ve ordered other plates but I feel like they serve you a lot a food. And even though sometimes they get busy, they still give you good service. Rudy and Sarah are my favorite bartenders. Great service.

Came with my girlfriend for a few drinks and apps on a Friday night.

The waitress (mature African American woman) working the tables at the bar was too busy hanging out at a table with her family/​friends. I finally went up to the bar and ordered drinks and food. We were there for 3 hours and she came by once; flippantly asking if we were ok after we went and got our own drinks.
Surprisingly, the manager seemed to be aware of the lack of service and allowed it to happen. In fact, he was laughing along with her table, seemingly neglecting overseeing the bar.
Eventually, we flagged down a waitress that was behind the bar for food. She helped us periodically but I don’t think we were her ‘area’ and actually felt bad for her. We went to the bar ourselves to get our drinks for refills. The bartender was helpful and friendly so thus the 2 stars.

Food was good. Vegetables was over cooked but otherwise nice. Waiters weren’t too eager too make the extra effort.

Soon as i brought the family through the doors it felt like we werent wanted. Had to seat ourselves, waitress hid in the back. The bartender served us tap water with ice he got from the back and not from the bar for some reason. They told me they were out of kids menus and just walked away right after. Had to get up and take the family elsewhere before they try to do «something» to our food.

This is just based on their costumer service!
Came in, no1 was at the front door to even greeted us or seated us, so we decided to seated ourselves at the bar. Some Hispanic Bartender finally came up to us after 5 mins and asked us what we wanted to drink. We said 3 waters please and do you happen to have a kids menu by the way. With attitude, he said hold up, walked away and came back and said «they ran out!!!» Who runs out of kids menu’s tho?! (on a empty Sunday) He finally came back with out waters, but saw him to get our water in «the back» which he could have gotten it at the bar. Tasted the water, tasted like straight tap water from the sink. From then on, no 1 came us to even take our order. Left that place and headed to Texas Roadhouse! NEVER coming back to this place again! Where is their f***** customer service! If I would, I would give this place zero stars, let alone on their service. I’m sure their food is just as bad as their service! Thank god, we didn’t stay long for that.

Me my mother & nephew came into Applebee’s & we usually have ok service here but today we had the best service ever! Our server was named Ignacio. Also I want to mention that a table next to us was fighting and being very loud and using bad language around my family especially my nephew! And our server came to our table and grabbed my nephew to distract him and showed him the horse hanging inside the restaurant and my nephew was so happy and loved it… (surprisingly) because he usually takes strangers the wrong. He also let us know we were welcomed to move tables if we wanted to.

I haven’t been to a Applebee in a long time. So my family and I went and we won’t be back for a while.
The waitress was nice and helpful but the food was slow and not hot.
It was not full of customers so I don’t know what the problem was.
The food was ok.
I’ll return but it won’t be in my top 10 list.

Im here having a drink with my girl Jacqueline. Its 8:30 pm, the host greeted us with a big smile and we got seated immediately. We ordered two margaritas and an appetizer, service was really quick. Love it!!! They are very attentive and they all seem happy working here, they’re smiling, I like seeing that! Very chill night. Thanks!!!

One word: MOLD.
I ordered a side salad and found leaves with fuzzy mold on it. Disgusting.

The food is about a 3 out of 5. Nothing to write home about. Service is nothing to write home about. Atmosphere is nothing to write home about. But this place is never too busy and it’s walking distance to the Union Landing theater (and Cold Stone) so we it’s our fall back.
Plus the drink specials and ½ off appetizers after 9pm are nice. The wait staff never screw anything up. We like to sit at the bar if we are in a hurry and we mention we have a movie to go to. Otherwise we sit in a booth and play games on the touch screen.

I have to say when it comes to eating at Applebee’s I am usually not a fan, but I had a really good experience when I had lunch here. I stopped in for lunch when the son was at football camp.
I will not go into what I ordered because we all know what is on the menu but I will talk about the service. My server was a pleasure and made sure I always had a filled glass and she checked on me often.
The food was hot and delicious. I had the Fiesta Lime Chicken and it was cooked to perfection. I can’t promise I will eat at Applebees often, but if I do, I would definitely stop in here again!

Not sure what is with poor service at restaurants these days! Came here last night with some special and it was empty as heck and quiet you could fall asleep in here. There were people sitting at the bar and some people sitting at random tables around the restaurant. We walked in and waited for the hostess to seat is and she was nowhere to be found. We waited about 3 minutes or so and she came out and said «I’m sorry so about that, I had to fix my shirt. Boy! You two look tired!» I was surprised at her welcome to Applebee’s statement — like you don’t make the «you look tired» statement to a customer!
We were seated at the bar to watch a football game that we on and our server took us awhile to get there. When she finally came to drink our drink order and came back them, she was hardly seen again. Everyone around us was getting served around is and our server was not doing a very good job. We ordered appetizers, which were really buttery and there wasn’t enough dipping sauce. When we ordered our food, we got at a decent speed but it wasn’t very good and the temperature wasn’t very hot at all.
I made the best of it and ate it anyway. We waited to get a refill on our drinks and yet again waiting on that server! Luckily we had the game to distract us of how disappointing the wait was. We do all got a refill on our drinks and we ordered desert which was bland in flavor and not as yummy as it could have been. Overall disappointed in this location, the service and the food. It was also freezing in there because they had the AC on which I don’t know why they would the AC on in the middle of winter!
I’ll stick to going to Applebee’s in my local neighbors thank you very much — better food and better service!
