Mr. Pickles Sandwich Shop

First time visiting since we drive by it everyday and probably the last. Staff was friendly but somehow I feel like we were taken advantage of as they knew we were 1^st timers. If not they definitely need a combo as we paid $ 40 for 2 sandwiches, 2 small soups, & 2 bags of chips. I feel like we were taken advantage of as we asked if they offered military discount and the cashier said yes… $ 1 off. Then he started ringing us up and I heard him say 2 soups at $ 4.99 each and they weren’t big bowls of soup. I didn’t think much of it at the time but when he told me my total I was a little surprised. I just went with it since they already started making everything and if I knew I’d be forking $ 40 ahead of time I would of just got sushi not sandwiches. I guess that was my fault.
Overall, sandwiches were okay/​average. They’re sandwiches… kinda hard to mess that up. We got the Got Beef and French Dip. Au jus & soups were lukewarm.
Still not a $ 20/​person place for a sandwich and 2 side items (with a bag of chips being one of them)

I used the delivery service, I was concerned that it didn’t give a time frame but didn’t need to worry, they were there in less that 45 minutes and the food was awesome, always a Mr. Pickles fan!

I have visited multiple Mr. Pickles throughout the years at different locations and the service, food and cleanliness have all been 4 star experiences. I always get the «Mr. Pickles» on Dutch Crunch but for today’s visit I wasn’t feeling chicken breast. Today I went with the «Got Beef» (Roast Beef, Pastrami, Monterey Jack) on Dutch Crunch. Normally I add everything but today I went with Tomato, Red Onion and Garlic Sauce. Fricking Delicious!!! The sandwich is hot which softens the Dutch Crunch. The meats were a perfect level of saltiness and the red onion and garlic sauce gave wonderful flavor. I am glad I changed it up today as I think I found my new favorite sandwich!

I am a big fan of Mr. Pickles and love the Big Jake on dutch crunch bread. This sandwich has turkey, avocado, cream cheese, and all the fixings. With a bag of chips and no drink, the total is close to $ 10. Kind of pricey for a regular lunch so I only treat myself occasionally. Staff are always friendly and quick and this location gets a steady flow of folks but the wait isn’t long. I can get in and out in under 10 minutes usually during my lunch break. The free freshly baked chocolate chip cookie is also a great touch!

OMG Mr. Pickles sandwich is the one I got fuckin amazing flavor running through it I got it on wheat bread and fuck was that good. sorry forgot picture but go here and try there amazing sandwiches ;) me and my friend kept saying danm this is sooo good hahah

Used to go to the location on sylvan rd until I tried this one. Always fresh and well built sandwiches. The pastrami here is amazing and is the only place I’ve ever actually liked pastrami.
5 stars for sure.

Loved this place! Regular sub was plenty for two meals! I’m not from the area but this place was pretty damn good. I didn’t get to choose my sandwich or see the menu as someone ordered for me while I stayed back at granny’s but I asked for turkey and officially was in heaven when i tasted my sandwich. I couldn’t finish it but I tried!

I went with the Fast Eddy which is roast beef, BBQ sauce, melted cheddar and onion. It was pretty good. The meat and produce were of good quality and the BBQ sauce had a nice tanginess. Portion size was not meager, I was stuffed for the rest of the day.

The service wasn’t bad she was friendly just the dutch crunch bread tasted horrible nothing like other Mr pickles thought it might just be my loaf so I asked for another and she happily helped me but the bread still didn’t taste good my girlfriend also got the same bread and it tasted weird to her too. Was no crunch and didn’t have the distinct taste the other locations have. good service bad food don’t waste your money other locations are the fire

I just stopped in to this particular mr pickles and was so impressed by how each individual was so exceptional! I work in customer service in a restaurant and i can tell you what a difference the people’s attitudes make. These ladies and one gentleman definately brightened my day. Well done and food was delicious. Thank you for restoring my faith in excellent customer service!

OMG! Where have you been all my life Mr. Pickles?
I had the most amazing lunch with my sister today at Mr. Pickles. When we arrived we were promptly greeted by the nice female behind the counter. After being overwhelmed by the wide variety of sandwich choices, I narrowed it down to two. After asking a few questions to the knowledgeable and friendly woman, I decided on the pastrami and swiss on a fresh baked dutch crunch roll. I am not sure where to start because it was frankly the best sandwich I have ever eaten.
The dutch crunch roll was moist and absolutely delicious! It was crunchy on the outside and soft and moist in the middle.
The pastrami was lean and not greasy at all. Which is rare, because pastrami is normally greasy or fatty. There was the perfect amount of pastrami and swiss cheese. It was great not to have to pay for extra meat!
I would highly recommend Mr. Pickles for your next sandwich!

Costumer service was amazing! They are really fast, nice and attentive. My sandwich was perfect and not only did they made my day better by giving me two cookies, they also gave my a little toy OWL! I will be back at this location every time I’m in the area. Thank you!

Fresh bread, fully topped sandwich, delicious ingredients. … this place is addictive. … don’t say you haven’t been warned. … best sandwich ever… and they are served with a warm cookie and s smile. …

I really enjoy there sourdough bread, dutch crunch is also one of my favs but it tends to not like the roof of my mouth lol.
The sandwiches are large enough for two meals if you get it on a roll. Meat, Cheeses and toppings are fresh and plentiful! Garlic sauce is AmazING! Wide assortment of chips for any flavor profile. A couple of days ago I had the Cheddar Horseradish Kettle Chips mmm mmmmm good!
Staff is always friendly & my order has always been correct even when I order online. Oh yeah, if you order online you save 10%!
I haven’t tried a salad before but my co-​worker loves the chicken cesar! I work close to this location so my coworkers and I go often, don’t think this will be changing anytime soon!

Great healthy sandwiches!
They have a pretty decent size menu to choose from. You are able to order all types of sandwiches and customize them how ever you want to! The quality is really fresh and great tasting!
The employees are really cool guys! The seating area is clean for the most part, and prices are not to bad. You pay for what you get.
Overall, I suggest grabbing a sandwich from here! Very yummy!

This place is just okay because in comparison to Subway, their sandwiches are significantly tastier but as a result they are more expensive. On the plus side, they match Subway in terms of how fast you can be in and out with your sandwich.

Fell in like with Mr Pickles as my GoTo sandwich spot when I lived in Placerville. This shop is super clean and friendly (more so than the shop of Sylvan). The sad part, for me, and not a vegetarian, I’ e got myself liking vege sandwiches over meat-​wiches. Togo’s is closer to home but they just don’t make a vege-​wich without having to explain what goes in a vege sandwich (since it’s not on the menu at Togo’s) and tbey overly smather it in hummus.
Mr Pickles has a nice vege-​wich … I have cream cheese added and the lot ‘sandwiched’ in the dutch crunch. But … they now add hummus … damn it. So, got one with hummus and one without; traded halvea with my gal to compare ‘with’ and ‘without’. Our choice … opt out of the hummus; just a little flavor over powering.
Still a Mr Pickles fan.

Came here for a lunch date on my day off and i was pretty happy that a free cookie comes with every sandwich order; AND on Fridays they come with a free pickle! Who doesn’t like free stuff?
I ordered the #7 which is a hot turkey sandwich with Baja cranberry sauce. It was just a hint of spice to counteract the natural sweetness of a traditional turkey cranberry. You can also load all of the condiments your stomach desires when you order your ‘wich for your stay there or on the go. The cookie was actually quite tasty for its size – crisp on the edges and soft/​chewy in the middle.
I haven’t been to too many Mr. Pickles, but will change that for the near future sandwich cravings.

I’ve been coming here for years and it’s still the best sandwich in town. There used to be a case for Subway being cheaper but now you’ll only end up spending a little more ($ 1 – 2) than you would at Subway but for a much higher quality sandwich. The experienced workers will always have your sandwich done quickly and correctly.
The inside of the store is very nice. There are booths and window facing seats, and you can’t really beat the smell of fresh bread. They have a few TVs and a really good selection of bottled/​canned drinks including IBC Root Beer, Calypso, Sobe Lifewater, and Arizona products.
They make their own Garlic Sauce and Baja Sauce. The Garlic Sauce is a mixture of olive oil, garlic cloves, and parsley and is drizzled onto each sandwiches. It couldn’t hurt to ask for a little extra. The Baja Sauce is a spicy ranch made with ranch, jalapenos, and hot sauce. It’s a nice addition to almost any sandwich.
