Loved it! The food is delicious and the service was so fast. I was shocked. I ordered the biscuits and gravy as well as the California Benedict. It’s cute

We’ve come here several times. There is nothing fancy about the décor, and it’s reminiscent of older cafes. However, the omelettes, Belgium waffles, and homemade bran muffins bring us back for breakfast. Hubby says the coffee is good. Service is fast. The music is not loud, something that keeps me from other restaurants. We feel comfortable and relaxed here.

Well, upon walking into the restaurant I was a little confused. The restaurant seems to be an odd combination of diner and Chinese restaurant. We ordered ice tea, we received a bottle of Chinese tea. Once we received our food it was immediately obvious that it would be less than pleasant. The hashbrowns were burnt, like black burnt. The bacon was burnt. The gravy on my biscuit was a flowery paste consistency. My boyfriends chicken fried steak was covered in the same flower paste(gravy) and said that it tasted like powdered meat. They did manage to do a great job on the eggs! Over all, we will not be returning.

We love coming here! Food is just like grandma made it. Chicken fried steak is delicious! Turkey avocado skillet is bomb! And let’s the forget the polish sausage omelet!

The bacon fried rice is pretty good so anytime I’m in the mood for it I will call this place up and order it to go. I’ve had their breakfast before and it was mediocre I don’t care for it much. Overall the food here isn’t too appealing to me. But like I said I do come back if I’m in the mood for their fried rice otherwise thats about all.

Not sure I would come back for lunch. Was ok. Didn’t finish it all because I couldn’t stomach it.

On our quest to find a consistent breakfast joint with a greasy spoon attitude we decided to try the Roseville Family Restaurant. I have driven by this place for years and have wanted to give it a try. So I asked my wife and breakfast partner if she was ready to stop in and eat. She was game as she is most of the time. It is in the old part of town on what used to be Automobile row. A lot of the car dealers have moved to the auto mall and now there are all used car dealers left. The street has been upgraded and looks nice. The restaurant is in an old original building from the early days of Roseville. The owners are Asian, most likely Chinese as they do serve some Chinese food selections. The place is clean, kind of cool old fashion. The menu has 5 pages of choices for lunch and breakfast. They open at 6 and close at 2, closed on Tuesday. My wife opted for the light breakfast which was one egg, two slices of bacon, two slices of sourdough toast and she chose hash browns instead of country potatoes. I always order the same thing when I try out a new place so as to compare apples to apples the only fair way I know. I had Chicken fried steak with country gravy, 2 eggs up, country potato’s and sourdough toast. I like the steak and gravy very much, nice and crispy, the gravy was very tasty, could have used a little bit more gravy though. The country potatoes were good, I like mine a little bit browner, but they were good. The eggs were done just right for me and my wife. The toast needed to be browner and a little more butter would be nice. The price was good, only $ 19.00 for two with one drink, as my wife has water. We will be back for lunch and let you know how it was. If you’re in the area give them a try, you should be happy with your experience.

We have been coming here for approx 2 – 3 years, the food is always fast, and hot. Portions are large. Prices are reasonable. We enjoy supporting local businesses. Doesn’t matter if on the weekend or during the week, service, food are always consistent and hot. Chicken Fried Chicken, is one of my favorites. Being in business over 21 years, they are doing something right.

We have been coming here for years, it is really a hometown type restaurant without a lot of frills. I really enjoy supporting small local businesses. Their fried rice is amazing and is nothing like I’ve ever had. They home make their biscuits and bran muffins which are very good. It’s a bit pricey but the portions are more than generous

This place had very quick and friendly service. Good was good and filling. It was a slight bit pricey but there was a ton of food we couldn’t even eat. We would definitely come back:).

Good food-good prices I like to support littler non chain locations and this place fits that description. Nothing to fancy here which is fine. The food is good. The prices are on the lower side. The kitchen will get your order out pretty quick. The service is a bit hit or miss. It feels like if there are regulars there when you go they are way up the preference chain and service can be slow. Overall the service is usually pretty good. Worth a stop if you are in the area.

We used to go here all the time because its cheap and the food is mostly descent. However the new waitress has terrible customer service and it really ruined our experience. She completely forgot about our table. After waiting over an hour and still no drinks, we left. The table that came in behind us was already finishing up their breakfast.

On our quest to try the local restaurants, we stopped at this diner for brunch. The place is a lot bigger then it looks. It was clean and the service was good. I’m extremely picking about my ice tea as read by other posts but I was very pleased with the ice tea here. My husband said the coffee was really good too so we were off to a good start! Our food was served hot and it tasted very good. They checked on us periodically, not overly but just enough. My husband and son agreed it was a place they wanted to try again. My veggie omelette was filled with veggies, my son said it was the best bacon he’s had in a long time. I give it all five stars because I didn’t see one thing that could have been done better. Keep in mind this is an older building so it is dated inside but you won’t mind that being served good food without a wait. This place is added to our«go again» list. Worth trying, I think you will like it!

My Partner and I have been coming to Roseville Family Restaurant for many years and have been consistently completely satisfied with the delicious and generous servings prepared by them. This quiet family owned and operated restaurant is tops in our books and the first place we go to begin our day in Roseville. We highly recommend coming here for their great breakfasts. The omelettes are excellent and generously portioned for the most voracious eater.

I came to this restaurant for the 2nd time, after getting inedible french toast elsewhere, I was hopping for better here. It was edible, but that is about all I can say for it. The service wasn’t bad, and I kind of like the atmosphere that seemed as if it would be a place locals would come and hang out and be glad for how nothing changes other than a fresh coat of paint every once in a rare while. Twice now I have been underwhelmed by this place so I don’t expect to go for a third.

Good food no fountain soda so no refills. Maybe I’m just being a baby but I like more than one soda with my meal. But overall nice people good food.

Really good for breakfast. The owners are really nice and the employees are quick and helpful. The waters were always refilled quickly and if you like to drink coffee they will come around numerous times to ask you if you would like coffee or refills. Went here for breakfast and I ordered the bacon fried rice. I’ve had fried rice for breakfast/brunch at many other places and Roseville Family Restaurant is by far one of the better places for said dish. They had a good amount of bacon along with eggs, green onions, mushrooms and flavor. The others in my group had corned beef hash and eggs with country fried potatoes and grilled onions. Tasted good only gripe is the corned beef has was the canned kind. The other person ordered a veggie omeltte. That thing was huge and full of veggies. That also came with any potatoes/hash browns. Overall I like this whole in the wall type place. A little of a hidden gem because its located in Old Roseville where not a lot of people outside of Roseville seem to know about or visit.

The name suits this place perfectly. This was our first time to the Roseville Family Restaurant and I’m so glad we checked out this little gem. We ordered the veggie omelette and homemade bran muffin. The omelette was huge and stuffed with veggies. The corned beed hash had lots of flavor and the bacon fried rice was delish! I can’t wait to go back and try more items on their menu. The wait staff were also very friendly which made our overall visit very delightful! This is definitely one worth checking out!

Blowing through Roseville after a flight up from Long Beach on our way to Auburn we decided to grab breakfast and found this joint As the afore mentioned reviews stated this is a family run business with many menu items including some Asian dishes. I ordered The Ground beef patty and eggs with«crisp» hash-browns with onions, while my bride had Corned beef hash and scrambled eggs. These plates were rushed right out and our glasses/cups were constantly being filled. A point to mention is I asked for my patty to cooked medium rare and it was perfect! I love red beef! The place could use a little sprucing up and parking was a little sparse. We’ll be regulars when we are back in the area.
