This is a great little cart with a unique and creative menu. Specializing in crepes and divided between sweet and savory, you come across yummy creations like a chicken, kale, and tomato crêpe(savory) and an orange rind, melted marshmallow, and whipped cream(obviously sweet) crêpe. Your order is taken by warm and mellow staff(the one who took ours was named Philip), and while you are waiting, you are blasted with mellow reggae music in the midst of the busy-ness of N Vancouver Ave in NE Portland. I found waiting to be a little more entertaining because the staff’s cooking process is put directly in front of you — if you are a reasonably tall person, you can see exactly what they are doing, since they have their crepemaker and ingredients on the very foreground of the counter. You can see exactly what they are doing. The cart looks more spacious inside as well, and not one of those conventional sardine-can arrangements — they’ve really maximized their space in there, and it looks nice and tidy. The bouquet of flowers they have placed on the customer-facing counter is a really nice touch as well. I hope they keep bringing fresh flowers. I recommended to Philip that they change their bluetooth speaker, as it seemed to be at the end of its rope, and he took the suggestion well and told me they were actually in the process of adding an actual surround system to the mix. I got my chicken, kale, and tomato crêpe wrapped in paper, like a gift in the shape of an ice cream cone. The crêpe itself was perfect — light, thin enough to be manageable, thick enough to be sumptuous and soft, and sinfully crisp. The cheese inside had melted to a veritable gooey sea, and the chicken and kale were happily swimming in it. When I bit into it, I saw a whole bright red cherry tomato winking at me. It was a wonderful combination of tastes — and only for $ 7.95! I would definitely come back again, to have a taste at the orange rind-marshmallow one. The service and atmosphere was great and the food is amazing — I’m sure I’ll be pleasantly surprised the next time I stop by.

Some friends and I ate here a couple of months ago, not long after the food cart opened, I think. Everyone ordered something different and so I got to try several of the crepes, both savory and sweet, and they were all insanely delicious. And – more than that – they were actually substantial! Most places in Portland and Vancouver where I’ve eaten crepes give you enough filling to pack a small mouse’s rucksack, but these crepes will last you a while.(I could still have eaten several in one sitting, but not because of hunger!) The chef is also my old roommate, and I vouch for his culinary skill! He knows how to make good food. Cart is temporarily closed right now but will reopen in early March!

My husband and I stumbled upon this cart, among a pod of others. I had the chicken with kale crêpe, which was delicious. The chicken was moist, the veggies were fresh, and the sauce was tasty. My husband had a dessert crêpe with marshmallow, orange rind and whipped cream. Reminded me of a creamsicle. Yum! Service was exceptionally warm and friendly.
