CREPES!!! Love Via Crepes has a great selection of dessert crepes and now savory crepes as well. Each one is hand made in front of you from scratch dough and tastes incredible. They have a large menu with models of each item in a case so you can find exactly what crêpe you want. The first time I came here I ordered 3 because they were so good yet cheap! It is a small shop with an ice cream parlor kind of atmosphere but definitely worth stopping by for dessert. You won’t be disappointed, I guarantee!

I was looking for a snack in this area and Unilocal had brought me here. This looks like a college neighborhood and parking was easy for a Saturday afternoon. Besides the Bulgogi and chicken teriyaki crêpe, all other selections are your typical choices. The bulgogi is creative but it was an odd combination with cheese. It reminds me a of Philly cheese steak with Korean flavored meat, the spinach was a bit odd too. It would’ve been better with caramelized onions. The chicken teriyaki was just OK, the pale while meat doesn’t look very appetizing and all they do is drizzle some super sweet teriyaki sauce over it. I admire their concept and love the fusion of Korean/Asia crêpe flavors but the execution needs a lot of improvement

when there’s plastic crepes in the window, you know it’s authentically asian ;) looks like the reviews around here enjoy the sweet crepes that love via crepes offers, but i was in a savory mood that day. unfortunately, the ham & cheese crêpe was not so impressive. the crêpe itself was still rather doughy and didn’t have that nice browned color to it… which made it a bit unappealing to the eyes as well. maybe i’ll go back and re-review upon trying a sweet crêpe.

I am actually angry that I’ve lived in PDX for 5 yrs and am only just now finding out about this place. ITISAMAZE. And the staff is genuinely as sweet as their crepes! :)

Mrs. K. got us a groupon/livingsocial/whatever deal here a few months ago and we were able to finally utilize it a couple weeks ago. I was pleasantly surprised. The crepes come in cone shape/style(see photos) which is a little different twist than what I am used to but certainly makes them more portable for you To Go type people. They have quite a few various options including both sweet and savory varieties. Ours were made quickly and well. If I remember correctly mine had chocolate sauce, strawberries, bananas and whip cream? Regardless it was good. Also the owner(I believe) gave us two tokens for the tea machine. Get the citrusy one, not the weird one. The citrusy one(«citron»?) was actually pretty tasty. The service and friendliness definitely raised this to above average. We felt welcomed and appreciated which is, of course, nice anytime you’re patronizing a business. Business was pretty(very) slow while we were there — we were the only two customers for the 10 minutes or so we were there during the lunch hour on a Monday. That makes me nervous for LVC’s longevity and viability, so go and check it out and buy some crepes, people!

We found this place accidentally when we were in the neighborhood. We were looking for desserts after our meals. We were driving around town and could not find any. Then we made the wrong turn and thanks to Unilocal,it helped us find this small café style place :) The service When we arrived, it almost close. they only have one server inside. Yet we are the only customers there. The server very nice. He tried to accommodate our request. He was friendly. He was happily giving spoon fork or whatever we requested. Good ! The food The crepes were great ! I love the soft texture of the crepes. A lot of places in town make crepes but nobody beat this one. The smell of the dairy and the fresh flour really blend in the skin of the crepes. The filling was great too. They are generous in giving out the filling of the crepes. We just love it ! The Location It is located at NW23rd where all the hip and cool restaurants are. It is a busy street. Parking would be a problem if you go there early evening as many people will eat around that area. You just have to be patient to find the parking. good news is you can reach the place by streetcar :) The atmosphere It is small. ON a busy day, you might not feel too comfortable. But, it is comfy enough. The color of the restaurant make you happy. It’s bright and dreamy. Good for small group of people. Definitely recommended !

It’s good, okay? If it was socially acceptable for me to buy 5 for myself and stuff my face then I would, but I’m lactose intolerant and that might not fly well. In all seriousness, I would sacrifice my intolerance for some love via crepes. YUM!

What a «gem». But really, it’s a cute little shop in the best city in the world, complete with those food models which are unquestionably Japanese. And of course, the food is amazing. Thin, warm crepes. Green Tea Ice Cream. Oreos? Yes. It all just looks — and is – so good.

I LOVELOVEVIACREPES! I was out today with my cousins when we decided that we needed dessert, so we went to Love Via Crepes. It was empty, since all the other normal people were out eating dinner, which ensured that our crepes would be done faster. The best part is getting to watch my crêpe being made. Dinner and a show? Yeahhh!!! PS. The cute one’s name is Tyler ;)

Holy cumquat. I seriously felt a strong need to run five miles after treating myself to a Nutella & Banana crêpe from this place the other day. It was decadent and you knew it with each bite. That this is a mere 8-minute walk from home is both a blessing and a curse. Damn, I have to add crunches to my exercise routine now or people would surely be able to tell that I frequent this place.

Oh. My. Gawd!!! One of these needs to come to San Diego STAT! We got the #8, Oreo and banana with vanilla Tillamook ice cream. I am dreaming about the cone of awesomeness right this minute. I want one… bad. This place might make me consider moving to Portland. There is a reason why the word«LOVE» is in their name. Sigh. I love you, Love Via Crepes. Oh, and how cute is the free coffee vending machine?! Love it all!

These crepes are great. The atmosphere is bright and they play fun Kpop, JPop, and American Pop. The crepes are delicious and easy to eat. The wrappers even here dotted tear marks to make the messy process of Japanese crêpe eating easier and cleaner. Once you buy a crêpe you get a coin to put in the drink machine which gives you 3 choices of delicious teas. They also offer free wi-fi. If I lived in Portland I could easily become a regular to this delightful crêpe shop.

Absolutely delicious. The girls and I got together for brunch last weekend, intending on heading over to The Stepping Stone Café. The second we saw the line, however, we decided to walk up 23rd to find a substitute. The dozens of times I’ve been up 23rd in the last year or so I’ve never took notice of this place, but I’m glad we did that day. The thing that I like best about this place is that in addition to the printed menu, they have little replicas of each crêpe in a glass case for your perusal. One of my friends opted for a savory crêpe filled with lettuce, tuna, hardboiled egg and wasabi mayo and it was superb. I never would have thought to put tuna and hardboiled eggs together, but it definitely worked. The wasabi mayo was awesome, and packed just the right amount of zing. My other friend ordered the crêpe filled with Nutella, bananas and whipped cream. I almost wished I would have ordered that one because Nutella and I kind of have a torrid love affair going on. It was simple and crazy good. I opted for one called the Lovejoy that included my choice of Tillamook ice cream; I chose the coffee fudge. It also had bananas, whipped cream, chocolate drizzle and caramel. It was basically like eating dessert for breakfast, which was what I was in the mood for. I will be back here again. It’s a great spot to pop into for an easygoing brunch or lunch and then meander down to all the shops on 23rd to work it off.

Quite good! The owner(I’m assuming it was the owner behind the corner) was quite friendly. We tried a chicken teriyaki crêpe, ham and cheese crêpe, as well as banana and custard crêpe… The custard was delicious! Although the sweet crêpe was yummy, I almost enjoyed the savory crepes that we had more… We’ll be definitely going back on Saturdays… ~

You’re kidding me if you hadn’t visited this place yet because their crepes are absolutely amazing. Twas a cold and rainy day(like normal) in the PDX area, alas the sweet tooth decided to creep upon me after a tasty Thai lunch down the street. The plethora of sweets to choose from: gelato, boba, and ice cream… How can one decide?! Then a twinkle of crêpe-tastiness caught my eye! The lovely décor inside, the cool option to either take your dessert to go or sit awhile, and the welcoming feeling from such great customer service… A place worth finding over and over again. Sad from a normal weather day in PDX, sad from the inability to eat meat on a Friday because of Lent, but as I gawked at the display of different crepes… The Happy Oreo caught me by surprise. The deliciousness of bananas, chocolate sauce, green tea ice cream(you can choose your ice cream), and whipped cream… The kid size was more than enough for me… I was in heaven. With every order of crepes or waffles(they have this, too) you get a free cup of coffee/tea! They give you a coin to use their little coffee/tea maker and I must say the treat of free milk-coffee and the Happy Oreo had turned my day around. Their location is great! Excited for the non-rain portion of spring and great weather of summer for when you can stop by to get your crêpe and eat it as you stroll down 23rd. Now go, serve your sweet tooth well — you know you want to.
