This place offers the best crêpe I have ever had! Located in the Mississippi district, silver moon has delicious sweet and savory crepes in a quiet and bright atmosphere. The service was top notch and the employees were super friendly and helpful. The choices are not what you would typically see on a crêpe menu. Thy have unique and delicious combinations of flavors. I got the spinach, pickled onion and chèvre crêpe with a harissa aioli. OMG, so delicious. My friends both got egg, pesto, mushrooms, chèvre and Swiss cheese. They both agreed it was the best crêpe they’ve had!

Wonderful crepes, both sweet and savory. The Vermonter and Sweet Elvis(great post-workout grub) are among my favorites, but I’ve had over a dozen different ones, and never a bad one. The Speculoos, lingonberry and spinach… harissa crepes are wonderful as well. Also, one of the few places on Mississippi open on Mondays. Go there now and order crêpe…

The folks who run Silver Moon are so pleasant and kind. They genuinely care about the customers and it shows in their food and their service. The crêpe flavors are creative and yummy. The crepes themselves are delightfully chewy, yet tender. We enjoyed the mushroom, turkey, swiss savory crêpe and the cardamom pistachio crêpe. Thanks guys!

Chris & Theresa were some of the sweetest people I met while in Portland!(Go figure they are CT natives!) The range of crêpe selections is massive, between sweet, savory and special selections you really cannot go wrong. I had a savory crêpe with spinach, swiss, mushrooms, and goat cheese — absolutely delicious! Then my friend and I split the special«crêpe Suzette» — butter with an orange grand mariner glaze and fresh made whipped cream. In a word, divine! They also have delicious fresh squeezed juices made to order. Definitely going on the top 10 list of places to stop into while visiting Portland! Such a cute little place!(And I imagine a good study spot for locals!)

For my first visit I went with one of my favorite classics: banana and Nutella. It was perfect! The crêpe was prepared to order, the banana was the perfect ripeness(soft and flavorful, but not mushy), and there was enough Nutella without being overwhelming(though how can you have too much Nutella?). Next time I’m definitely planning on trying one of the savory ones(and I’m sure I’ll try another sweet one); the smoked ham and sliced brie sounds too good to pass up! On top of the delicious food, the service was very warm and friendly. Definitely 5 stars all around.

Had the«smores» crêpe and it was incredible. Definitely one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Next time I’m going to have to try one of the savory crepes. I would highly recommend this place!

First time coming here and loved it! Food was great & the people working were extremely friendly. Big sized portions for crepes & they surely are not stingy on the meat. Which was great. If I lived in the area, I would definitely be a regular here. Yum!

Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. No wait for food. It was delicious and reasonably priced. I am not from Portland but will most definitely make this a regular stop when I am in town.

Delicious crepes and friendly staff! We stumbled upon this little gem while strolling along Mississippi Ave and I’m so glad we did. We split a savory and a sweet crêpe. We added green apples to the ham, Brie and honey and it was fantastic! The special of the day was lemon curd and raspberry jam, such a great combination!

I know this is somewhat retroactive but I never made a review of this restaurant. I found Silver Moon Creperie on Twitter. We had a funtastic time messaging back and forth until I decided to venture over with the wife to try out the goods. I already knew they had paper plates and plastic cups — and in today’s society I figure, as a small biz owner, finances can make you choose between china /stemware or fine ingredients and excellent food. I prefer the excellent food. I can handle the paper plates; I’m guessing those who can’t have never gone camping. But I digress. This is about their excellent cuisine. I’ve tried other creperies in Portland. Blech. $ 8 for paper thin pancakes, a spinach leaf and dry as a bone. No thank you. Silver Moon Creperie Savory Vermonter was flavorful, filled with lots of fresh ingredients(walnuts, apples, smoked turkey, cheddar cheese, honey) and I cleaned my plate. It came with grapes on the side — very festive. It was more than amazing and renewed my faith in creperie restaurants. I ordered a chocolate milk on the side and although I had to wait, it was über worth it. I love the ambiance of the place, very whimsical and colourful. And the service was personable, friendly and inviting. Its been awhile since I’ve been to the Silver Moon Creperie and time to visit again. The wife and I are hooked and look forward to trying something new!

Good little new-ish café on Mississippi. Their hours are kind of odd(I’d love them to be open for evening coffee/desserts — we have very few dessert places on this side of town that aren’t ice-cream-based!) but the people are very nice and the crepes are good. It was kind of interesting that a lot of the crepes seemed a bit more Italian style. But both the savory and sweet ones were quite good, and the cappuccino was lovely. One thing that did bug me and took away from it was serving everything on paper plates and in paper cups(yet with real silverware). It’s super wasteful and made it actually a lot harder to eat the crêpe(they’re not folded up to eat with your hands, they’re laid out flat so you have to use a fork), plus hey for a $ 48 lunch(two savory, two dessert, coffee & soda) it’d be nice to have real plates. Owners, please consider! Otherwise a nice little place on the hill end of Mississippi that is worth a try.

Visiting Portland I came across this wonderful crêpe shop. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. I got the pesto, tomato, mozzarella and mushroom with a banana, peanut butter and dark chocolate chip for dessert. Blueberry, mango, banana smoothie was fresh and very flavorful. Some places are watered down but not here. Only the finest these fruits have to offer. Services was friendly and prompt. I would recommended and come back in the future.

Seriously good crêpes! I had the smoked ham, cheese, mushroom crêpes. Sweet couple running the place, friendly, inviting and cheerful interior. Don’t eat crêpes in Paris, come to Portland for authentic and fresh crêpes made with

It’s always good to have options for brunch in this city, and I think I found another to my «secret» list. Silver Moon Creperie has been in the neighborhood for a while now, but I hadn’t been compelled to visit until yesterday. I could still see the skeleton of the pie shop still, but they adapted with décor to make it their own. The staff is very friendly and communicative, which is always a plus. I was intrigued by the ham, brie, and honey combination when I saw the chef walk by with a crêpe overflowing with the cheesy crack. My tiny bit of skepticism was blown away by the combination. The brie was mellowed by honey, and the smoked ham added the extra intensity to make it a balanced, flavorful dish. I will definitely be coming back to try out another crêpe, maybe with a fresh-squeezed juice. Check this place out, especially if Gravy is overflowing and you don’t want to wait for 1+ hours.

Wonderful crepes. We found this new crêpe place when we were wandering on Mississippi Ave. Three of us went there for a Saturday brunch and thought crepes would be light and fun. We had two savory and one sweet crêpe. Classico: this is the pork lovers crêpe, with salami and ham. We asked for light cheese so every bite was very flavorful and the pepperoncini peppers were very refreshing. Veggie: again light on cheese by request, but still very flavorful and with both the crepes different in flavor profile it was a good savory meal. For the sweet crêpe we had the chocolate and marshmallow. There is really no scope of going wrong here. The combination is a crowd pleaser and amazing for the taste buds. Café au lait: this is one of those places that serves café au lait also. This is coffee with milk base as you get in Café Du Monde in New Orleans for the people who have had that amazing beverage(some May and some May not remember it due to mardi gras). I would definitely go back for more.

I was just thinking, o yay, another crêpe place, but this one is not just another crêpe place, it’s a crêpe place that has excellent toppings, fresh squeeze juices and smoothies. I love French pancakes because they feel light and full of flavor at the same time. I have tried only the sweet crepes like the lingonberry and cream, but it’s super promising. I was excited to see cookie spread as a topping option! The world knows about Nutella, but the world needs to know about cookie spread :). It’s a great option for those who are not too fond of chocolate. I really want to come back and try the savory crepes and the fresh smoothies! Bonus: the fresh squeeze orange juice is amazing. Plus you can mix carrot and apple juice too.
