I took the chef’s recommendation and got the pineapple fried rice with beef thing. It was the delicious, comforting, hearty, plate-​toppling love child from the mixed-​race Korean and Hawaiian upbringing I never knew. 6 hours later and I’m still stuffed. Bravo.

You can call ahead of time to pick up your order, hit or miss if the phone is answered.
Usual wait time for dishes is 7−15min depending on crowd and line.
Parking is street parking, you may have to cruise around a bit.

I loved eating this last night. Then I spent the entire night and morning completely sick, with my stomach making the most passionate and vocal of complaints for several hours before the real show kicked in and the dehydration marathon began. My boyfriend did not fare any better than I.
Two stars for flavor. Minus three stars for food poisoning.
Update: One star. I’m still sick 20 hours later.

This place is incredible! My favorite is the BiBimBop– you can’t go wrong! My husband and I have been frequenting this location for over a year. So delicious.
