It looks like a convenience store, but it’s really a neighborhood grocery. The difference? The stock is fresh, the prices are reasonable, and the people are nice. What they sell is mostly odds ‘n’ ends — for example, yes, they have nacho cheese Doritos, but most of the other chips they sell are off-off-brands. Chances are that they will not have exactly what you are looking for, but they will have a close substitute that you can buy at prices comparable to what you would pay at a supermarket. I would not, however, advise subsisting on a diet composed solely of the food you could buy here. Four out of five doctors would agree, and that fifth one has been disbarred. They sell wine, which is always a plus in my book(and real wine, not fortified crankcase oil). They also have WW and Mercury racks just inside the front door. The floor is chipped and uneven, and the décor in general is dingy, but I’d rather have low prices than polished trim. If you live in Belmont, check this place out!
