The coffee was ok. The atmosphere could be brighter. Nice small town coffee shop.

First and foremost, yay for local business! Second, I love the atmosphere, the baristas are very cool easy to talk to. Great place to hang out with friends for some Café

Everything in Ojai seems to close pretty early(even on a Saturday). We happened to find Bohemia Coffee House and that they were open until 8:00pm on a Saturday! It was walking distance from town where were wine tasting. The shop has variety of coffee and tea. I picked the lavender Palmer(lavender version of an Arnold Palmer). The large was on $.50 extra. My first few sips it was a light lavender taste, kind of a bummer that it wasn’t more lavender infused. They have board games that you can use to play with your group. We played for a while until they closed. Service wise, the employees were nice and the locals were nice. Unilocal 100 Challenge — 35 of 100

I’ve been here several times and am surprised by the amazing reviews. The pastries always look old and the staff is more interested in talking to each other than actually helping customers. Last time I was there the guy gave my tea to someone else and then when I asked where mine was ten minutes later he went over and took the tea from the other woman and handed it to me. it seems that while the staff lives the locals, they have no interest in serving non locals. I won’t be going back.

Great coffee. Great service. The barista was super helpful us pick out something yummy! He even gave us recommendations on things to do while we were in Ojai. I had the Tara Late. It was perfect for a hot day. Very refreshing. The location is great too. Plenty of parking in the back and walking distance to Barts Bookstore.

Place has good coffee but what is up with the service!?! They take fierce to get your order. I get it this is Ojai a lot of hippies no one is in a hurry, but holy shit they are slow and screwed up my order

I look forward to drinking my pour over dark roast here every time I visit! The service is friendly and remembers your name and order if you visit a few times. The prices are on par with what they offer and the quality of coffee and teas. Plenty of space with free wifi and conveniently located in Ojai.

I’ve had the best almond milk latte here(when I would give 5 stars), and the worst(totally flat, and under– or over-heated) almond milk latte here(when I would give 2 stars = 1 star for the attempt, and another star for friendly service) … which makes it a bit frustrating not knowing on a given day what I’ll get. I’ll admit I’m a bit picky, having been a barista myself years ago, but I know a good latte(and a bad latte) when I have one. Seems to me that it would do this place good to train all of their baristas on how to consistently make good espresso-based beverages. I would be a more regular customer if that were the case.

Cool vibe. It’s small, but plenty of room to sit and read for a bit. They don’t blast any music, at least when I was there. And they have amazing jalapeño bagels. Best I’ve had in a long time.

Ojai rolled up the streets on a quiet Tuesday evening in mid-October and Bohemia still had their lights on. It was a perfectly quiet spot, with good chai and friendly baristas.

Walked in here thinking I could buy some enlightenment. All I got was this iced coffee. A bit of a dreary place. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Passing through Ojai and Unilocaled coffee. Great service, very friendly and efficient. So, my name is Tara. They had a latte on the menu, Tara’s Latte. She was a former Barista they say, who made her lattes with honey and cinnamon — the exact same way I do! It was an awesome coincidence. Hubby had a Dirty Chai, was real nice, he loved it but I would prefer half sweet.

Over a year since my last review, and here I am enjoying yet another pot of darjeeling tea among the low key locals, with pleasant music, free wi-fi, and local trippy artwork. Outdoor tables and plug ins makes this place still one of my favorite hangouts in Ojai.

A cute little place on the main road in Ojai. Had the chai latte and cappuccino, both of which were pretty good. Tried the chocolate ganache cake, which was delicious. A bit dry, but I got the last piece from the display case, so that was probably the reason. Fast, friendly service. Cute place to do work. Small-medium sized tables with free Wifi.

Wow service was so nonchalant here. I was in the area and I really needed to pee when I came across this coffee house. I went in used the restroom and was kinda hungry. It would be another hour til we ate lunch so I figured I would get a small coffee and pastry and be on my merry way. I stood at the counter and there were 3 people working at that time. Two of them had their backs to me and one guy was putting pastries in(fresh pastries? Sweet!) facing me and I stood there. Oookay. Maybe they didn’t know I was there? So I spoke up. The guy looked up said hello to me and put his head back down to continue ignoring me. At that point I gave up and left. No pastries for me.

**PROBABLYTHEBESTCAPPUCCINOINOJAI** Went to three different coffee shops and cafes for a decent cup of Joe. This was the best one. PARKING ======= Back lot. Street. AMBIANCE ========= Lazy, boho. Don’t expect a modern Starbucks. Indoor and front/back patio seating. We sat in the back with our dog. COFFEE ======= Cappuccino was made strong. Good foam. Not very European, but good enough. RATING: 3.5÷5 SERVICE ======== Friendly. Easy-going. RECOMMEND.

Great coffee house! It is really pretty big with lots of seating. Outside seating in the front and in the back. It has a very comfortable and relaxed vibe. We were here on a cleansing retreat and stopped in for some herbal tea. We had the blueberry something and it was so tasty. We sat out front on the steps and enjoyed the sunshine. The staff was super friendly and we told them what we were looking for and they made a couple of suggestions. Really helpful. The location is great, easy to find. Definitely will stop here again when in Ojai. We stayed at the Emerald Iguana and it was a super short walk down to the coffee house. From the coffee house we walked up the street and did some shopping. Made for a great morning.

Most creative menu of coffee drinks. Love the Black and Tan with whip cream, but be sure to ask them to describe the Neapolitan and Red Eye to you. Very friendly service. Arrived at closing time one trip, and they were very friendly about making me that one last drink of the day. Definitely not to be missed on any trip to Ojai. Plenty of free parking, and free wi-fi.

Tara’s Latte, with honey and cinnamon, is uniquely delightful. Bright colorful space and a friendly staff. Plus, plentiful parking in the lot in the back. Bohemia Coffee House is the real deal with wi-fi and a comfortable, super-chill local flavor.
