This coffee shop is usually my go to spot when I’m visiting Ojai. This time wasn’t the best experience. Maybe because it’s Sunday, or the weather is gloomy, but both of the girls working seemed like they really did not want to be there. My boyfriend and I both ordered lattes and we had to microwave them before we could start drinking them. His chai latte didn’t taste good to him, and I know everyone has different preferences, but when he went politely back to the counter to let them know and the barista became defensive and offered no substitution or remedy… Just an attitude. Oh well, I will find a new spot.

First time visiting this place and I wish I had stopped by years ago! The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The service was friendly, helpful, and cheerful! I got the«blended raspberry chai,» which was one of the most best tea + syrup combinations I’ve ever tried! My sister got the«Italian fizz: strawberry + vanilla» which was equally delicious.

One of my favourite coffee spots in ojai. This place is comfortable, convenient, and has the best rice crispy treats I’ve ever had. It has a nice patio area where you can bring your dog and cozy couches inside to keep warm. Their different Chai flavours are delicious and their espresso tastes like real espresso. Nice atmosphere, strong coffee and tasty treats!

Very cute little place. The coffee is really good and they even have one cubes made with coffee for no extra charge ! :)(Awesome way to keep your iced coffee from getting watery). Sbux needs to take note. Lol. Oh and you know how the other green giant has those horrible plastic lids that leak on you no matter what ??? Well full of beans is full of awesome because they use the same cups as CB&TL. No spills or drips. I know I keep going on about the cups but it’s awesome to not get coffee drips while enjoying iced coffee. The inside has plenty of seating and even literally a «coffee bar» where you can oversee what is happening behind the scenes. The patio out front and out back looked awesome but I was trying to stay cool after a long hike today ;) The food selection is actually pretty plenty and they have everything from the norm baked goods to chili and salad. They definitely have something for everyone. It is located right off of the main road going up to Ojai. ((((Thanks for reading !! I love Unilocal and always like to write honest reviews for others. This place gets the approval. Check it out sometime)))

We stopped by to say hello to Dave & walked away with 2 yummy shakes, his famous chili, delicious banana nut cake, & pumpkin bread(he makes this all year long!). We are in love with the food & atmosphere. Thank you! Now time to hit the road.

This place is perfect! Just what I needed. Friendly service, great coffee, beautiful relaxing patio to sit and chill, what more could you need?! Try the Black Eye coffee, great taste and strong buzz!

This place is great! Lots of parking, lots of seating, beautiful location, lovely drive over there, I love stopping in on the weekends from Ventura and grabbing a bev here, they’ve got some unique lattes. Their food menu could use some expansion/improvement. Otherwise this has got to be one of the best little spots to stop and chill in Ojai if you need a caffeine break in your day.

Pretty much about what I expected! The interior matches the exterior in terms of cuteness and quality. I was glad to support a local business and it was nice to sit outside to drink my very reasonably priced latte. The place felt a little dirty and unkempt to me though. Service was friendly and helpful and they have both almond and soy milk — an unexpected and welcome treat! My latte was on the weaker/waterier side but did the trick.

Adorable little coffee house. The lady helping us was extremely kind and had great suggestions. I went with the popular choice called the brown sugar latte. So happy I got it. Super yummy and not overly sweet. When I’m back in the Ojai area, I’ll definitely be coming back here !

This is seriously the best and cutest coffee shop in Ojai! I wish I had stopped in earlier. The coffee is delicious, and the ambiance is perfect.

Great coffee here, but also smoothies, shakes and malts if you aren’t into coffee. They make their own coffee ice cubes so if you get an iced coffee and it melts down, you don’t get that watery taste. Also they have homemade flavored whipped cream which is great ! Quiet setting inside if you need to work on school work, or a project. But outside is my favorite, they have cute plants and decoration out on the back patio with several different tables, very peaceful place. Live music too every so often which is great because it’s local artists. Also yummy little goodies, and sandwiches etc. Stop by and check it out, and support local businesses, much better than starbucks !!!

My favorite thing about this place(other than the awesome staff) is that they use frozen coffee cubes for their iced coffee so you don’t end up with watery nothing at the end of your drink! This is especially nice for someone like me who doesn’t add sugar or sweets to my coffee and I don’t really appreciate ending with«milk-water!»

Loved the coffee and the people. Didn’t try the pastries but they looked awesome. The place has character unlike chain coffee stores.

The«complete package» in coffee shops. With the chillest of baristas, great ambiance inside, and the best in outdoor(back patio) space, this is a great place to come grab a great coffee and relax. I ordered a large coffee(santa barbara roasters blend) and sat on the back patio and listened to a local band play some tunes. With local WiFiers, readers and scrabble players scattered about, an all around good time.

Coffee, food and ambiance are all amazing! This apple pie cake is everything I hoped it would be. Yum! My only complaint is that the girl working the counter was a little unfriendly… Otherwise this place is a total gem! Don’t go to starbucks!!! It’s so much better here!

After an evening of camping at Wheeler Gorge, I needed some caffeine for my drive back to LA so as soon as I saw Full of Beans’s bright orange exterior(and deduced that it must be a coffee shop, and not a bean-themed restaurant) I knew what needed to happen. Blinded by lack-o-caffeine rage I veered into the lot, and luckily didn’t hit any pedestrians, or vehicles while hulking out. Once inside I scoped the menu then ordered a medium americano, and a huge croissant. Both ran me just a little over $ 4, which made this Angeleno very happy since in the city of angels that price will only secure me a beverage, OR a baked breakfast treat. Never both. The barista did seem pretty distracted: more interested in her conversation with the other lady working than in helping an out-of-towner pick out her post-camp b-fast, but she was adequate at ringing me up, and giving me my snack. The americano was alright. It was way too hot to drink for a good forty-five minutes, but once it cooled to a consumable temperature it tasted fine: a little on the watered downside, but it did caffeinated me for the rest of my drive home. And the croissant was very buttery, but still light and fluffy. For the area this might be the best of the bunch, but I’m planning on finding that out for sure the next time I’m in the area, and checking out an alternate coffee spot. This wasn’t bad, but I have had better experiences, and americanos. Maybe if I had been able to sit, and enjoy a coffee on the porch, and hadn’t had to immediately hit the road my opinion would be different since it did seem to have quite a few folks lazily sitting in the Sunday sun happily sipping from mugs. Full of Beans is inexpensive, has caffeine, and is convenient for those who camp in the Ojai area, and then have to venture home to LA. But the service isn’t the best, and the beverages are mediocre. The likelihood of my return is slight, but I certainly haven’t ruled it out.

My Americano was perfectly executed. The blueberry bar was a bit soggy. This was one of those rare times when I threw away a dessert half-eaten. There were other desserts available such as lemon bars, cheesecake bites, and carrot cake. Friendly service, and I certainly appreciated that the staff kept watch over my belongings while I checked on my clothes at the laundrymat next door. Even though Starbucks is closer to my place, this is my top choice for fresh coffee in the area.

Oh, how I miss going to this little gem of a coffee shop. One of the few pitfalls of moving out of the Ojai Valley. The atmosphere is eclectic and laid back, somewhere perfect to go and sit and read, write your next great American novel, or ponder the universe… Yet, I’m not that deep, I simply loved the staff, they are friendly and upbeat and make a mean sugar-free Vanilla Ice Blended. If you are traveling up to Ojai stop in, it’s got a great vibe!

I happened into this place on a recent road trip to nowhere and it looked like a nice place to have a breakfast snack before our hike. At first glance the place is really nicely decorated with a cool garden full of succulents and other interesting flowers that guide you into the building. Once inside it looks like it may have been a mexican restaurant in a past life. I had a cup of coffee that was actually quite good, no complaints. The staff was friendly and service was pretty quick although thats partially because they expect you to do most of the work. They hand you a cup and say«there’s the coffee», they hand you a bagel and say«toaster is around the corner». I guess this is alright but the toaster was kind of grimy looking and it was for bread, not for bagels. When I stuffed my «everything» bagel into the tiny slot, «everything» got scraped off ;(My girl got a cup of tortilla soup and she complained that it was lukewarm and it was all broth, there was hardly any goodies in the bottom of the bowl. I guess if you stick to coffee you will be alright. I was far from home when I found this place so chances of me ever going back are not good but you should try it yourself.

Awesome little coffee shop right on the main road headed to Ojai. I stopped here this morning for something quick and the friendly young woman behind the counter got my hot chocolate and had me in and out in just a few minutes. The hot chocolate had a very interesting flavor — it tasted like it was sweetened with agave or maybe raw sugar. Nice and different than the usual, unexciting drink. Also grabbed the BIGGEST rice krispie treat I’ve ever bought. It had little M&M like candies in it and swirls of extra marshmallow. OMG this was so delicious I ate it all in one sitting even though I shouldn’t have! Clean, tidy little shop with a cozy, local feel. Very good prices too — giant treat + large hot chocolate = $ 5.65. I’ll definitely stop here again!
