I had ordered from them once previously and pizzas arrived 25 minutes later than I was told. Figured I would give them one more chance since I like to support local businesses. I ordered $ 42.00 worth of pizzas and after waiting 2 hours, called to see if everything was ok. I was told they must have misplaced my order and due to unforeseen issues, I could no longer have any pizzas delivered. Never again will I order from THIS local business.

We had our pizza delivered. It took almost an hour, not bad for a Saturday night. The pizza was just warm. The flavor is average. We also ordered the stromboli. It was okay. The menu pricing didn’t add up to what we were charged. Plus there’s a delivery charge. Still didn’t add up to what we were charged. Don’t see us ordering from there again.

The awesome manager on duty allowed me to buy just a pizza dough to take home and make. I really found this awesome and when I made the pizza at home the crust turned out perfect. Now they definitely serve baked pizzas, I just asked them to do something out of the ordinary selling me just dough and they did with no problems! I probably will try their pizza sometime!

I went here based upon a fellow Marysville resident’s recommendation. My fiancé wasn’t real keen on the place, I suppose because it’s a hole in the wall and really just doesn’t look like much. I had read that the place wasn’t all that friendly and the pizza was so so. Well when I read this place delivered beer I was determined to try it sooner rather than later. Alas, despite continuing to advertise that they do they actually do not deliver beer anymore. Stopped by one night before going to Krogers(it sits right beside Krogers). You know the old wisdom, never shop when hungry. A couple of young men were working, one that was working doing the actual pizza work did not look old enough to be working to be honest. But alas, do not judge a book by its cover as I should know, I looked about 10 years old when I graduated high school. I ordered a medium pizza with everything on it, I believe they call it the deluxe. I added extra cheese, black olives and ham. The guy taking my order was not rude but certainly did not act as if he was glad I was there. I definitely got the vibe that people had said about the place, that it’s help is not very customer friendly. A bit disappointing but the main thing was how was the pizza. While I waited on the pizza the front end guy left to do something and I attempted to talk with the young man working the pizzas. He seemed a bit aloof and was busy so I didn’t press the issue. As I got my pop it looked odd. I took a small sip and it was awful. No carbonation. I didn’t say anything, the guys didn’t seem real wanting to talk if you know what I mean, and just threw it out, thinking I’d try a diet pepsi instead of the diet mountain dew. Same thing. So I had to speak up at this point as I’d paid for a pop and should get one I can actually drink right? I mentioned it to the guy working the register who didn’t apologize or anything, just motioned for me to get one out of the refrigerator. I noticed throughout the duration of my stay no sign of «Out of Order» was ever put on the pop dispensing machine either. Anyways, the pizza came and I’d give it a good solid 4 stars. I would even say 5 and believe me I considered it as it was really tasty, lots of sauce and they did NOT skimp on the toppings. However I must say it fell just short of 5 stars because it just didn’t taste a whole lot different or unique compared to many pizza places that are my favorite in Columbus. I also made a point to put a picture of the pizza on their Unilocal!page as no one had done so and I could not find one pic of their pizza on their webpage either. I am baffled by this as any good pizza place should always have multiple pictures of their pizza on their webpage at minimum. If they don’t it makes it look like they are trying to hide something in my opinion. The bottom line is we will definitely be ordering this again as it’s very good pizza. I will not be eating in the restaurant again probably because not only was it slightly uncomfortable eating there, as if the guys just wished I’d got my pizza and left, it was also just a very very basic restaurant. This is not a pizza place to visit. This is a carryout and/or delivery restaurant all the way in my opinion. I have to say the lack of welcoming and failure in customer service really kept Monarchs from getting a higher rating. I cannot, in good conscience, give a 4 star rating to a place where the help makes me feel unwelcome and simply acts as if me being there is somewhat of a nuisance. The pizza is more than welcome in my home anytime though and I look forward to ordering again.

This is my go-to pizza place in Marysville, service is great, food is amazing and deliveries are always on time. I recommend this above all other pizza venues in Marysville.

First off, this place hasn’t had a review since 2011 and that makes me think this place is underrated right away. I will assure you it is not. The pizza was great, not greasy and well cooked. They offer wheat crust and many places don’t have that option at all. When they took my order, they asked a lot of questions to better my experience on what I wanted on the pizza etc.(this should be normal, but some places just don’t get it) I order a simple half in half with peperoni and banana peppers. I am happy to say that I will go back here again soon.

The chicken ranch bacon pizza is awesome. The guy who took my order though seemed like a stoner who apparently has smoked himself to a stupidity beyond filling the easiest of pizza orders.

Eh. This is teetering on a 2 ½ star, but I didn’t want to be too mean. Monarch Pizza is great for people, or families on a pizza budget. They often advertise coupons, or deals on pizzas, which is beneficial if you are starving, or need to feed a hoard of hungry teenagers. However, I am just not blown away by this pizza joint. They have these cool little calzones they make by hand, but often they are soggy, and falling apart. The pizza is just on the bland side for me. It’s pizza AND it’s edible, but they have way too many other places to compete with to just be… boring. Most of the sides seem to be brought in frozen, which you can tell after eating. Most time they’re disappointing and outright sloppy. Another minus for me is that the sauce is to acidic, which counts for some awful heart burn later in the evening for me. Often after eating Monarch I feel grumpy and un-enthused.

BLT Pizza… YUM-O…Of my 4 years living in Marysville I had never tried Monarch pizza so I decided to give it a whirl. My first impression from the customer service on the phone I have to be honest was not the best. It sounded like a teen that had better things to do was on the other end. «Yeah what do you want», «ok will be there in 45 minutes» no questions, just flat replies. I even had to stop him before he hung up to say hey do you want me name & number? So the pizza arrived in time and it felt like a ton of brick. As mentioned got the BLT pizza and they really loaded up this pizza with toppings, no skimping that’s for sure. The pizza was really really good. I got the medium & thought it was huge. I ordered the garlic bread with cheese and while it was good the bread was a tad cold and the cheese had hardened so it was a little rubbery and I had to hold the cheese in place while taking a bite so the whole cold thing didn’t come off all at once. Maybe I’ll give Monarch another chance. It was good don’t get me wrong, but the CS and the cold bread kinda put a blah taste in my mouth.
