This place is a joke. It’s dirty, unprofessional, the staff must be from inbred dna. We ordered a pizza picked it up. It was below Tony’s(frozen pizza quality). Wasted 20 $. Chewy cheese, acidic runny sauce. Hold on gotta get rid of this …10 minutes later. Ok I would not recommend this to anyone not even my enemy. Oh it is also a bar. They need to call bar rescue… Just gross

This was early 2015, just posted it now because I saw a «Like» mention for this restaurant on Facebook and remembered my bad time here… ====== We had a dinner plan to go out and decided to try this pizza place. It must have been a really off day… The«ziti» was woeful. The cheese was warm, and the pasta was cold. The sauce was almost red ‘water’. We asked for salad and was asked what salad dressing wanted. One of us asked for ranch and I asked for french. She stated there was no ranch,(this is after hearing someone in the back tell her, that WAS ranch in her hand, and we never got it) and I got thousand island dressing. The only thing decent was the soda. Obviously we never went back again. Very sad.

OK, its not half as good as Bennys pizza. The reviewer who said it was really needs to get out more. The crust was dried out and hard. The sauce lacked seasoning and was on the acidic side. The cheese quality was below average and the topping quality varied. The mushrooms were fresh out of the can and still on the watery side. The peperoni were average and the onions were great. I wish it had more cheese and that the cheese was a creamier flavor. The worst part of this place though was the restroom. It was so gross! Had I gone in before ordering, I’d be writing a review for a different restaurant. Take a little pride in your restaurant for petes sake.

I’m just in town for a couple of days, and decided to give Family Pizzeria a try. I found the pizza to be quite tasty, and the staff was very friendly. Being from the state of Michigan, I have to admit that I was a little bit uneasy with all the Ohio State University décor. On the plus side, I graduated from Michigan State University — one thing Spartans and Buckeyes have in common is a strong dislike for Wolverines! :) The restaurant isn’t likely to win any decorating awards, but the pizza and friendly service definitely makes Family Pizzeria worth a visit when in the area.

Oh. it is so sad when you have the phone number of a pizza place memorized. Heh. Family is a good Midwestern pizza… not Chicago… not NY… just a nice in-between pizza. Some of the same people have been working at this place for a few years, so you can agree that the consistency has a high probability for being good. The inside of this place is straight out of the 70’s or 80’s with the dark wooden paneling, and the leather high back chairs in the bar area, and the infamous Budweiser and beer mirrors hanging about. It’s kind of like some hill-jack’s dream mancave. Appearance of places don’t deter me… in fact, I enjoy these old time capsules. I usually like to enjoy their pizza after it has been setting for a few minutes, so all of the toppings don’t slide off. Just munch on some FREE pop-corn and have a beer or two… the happy hour specials are usually pretty decent, though the liquor selection is slightly limited, but I have seen worse. The subs here are pretty good, too. They have one called«Ruthie’s Way» which is somewhere in between a hoagie and just a regular cold cut sub, but it’s pretty good if you’re super hungry. They also have a Stromboli that is A-OK! This is a good place to stop if you’re looking for some decent pizza in the ‘ville.

I was in the area for work and I had time to blow as well as a stomach to feed, so I headed to Family Pizzeria based on Unilocal reviews. It was a little cold, and the place is a little run down and cheap, but the pizza was great. It’s Midwest style although a tiny bit thicker than normal, with a nice yeasty home made crust. The usual toppings are high quality and the service is very friendly. This was a good, solid experience and I would be happy to come back if I’m in the area. Still not sure what I thought about the free popcorn. Kinda made it feel like a cheap bar.

THE best pizza in Marysville… and yes even over Benny’s(gasp). Well in my opinion at least. Family Pizzeria is a small family run joint & the atmosphere is just that. Small, cozy and laid back. They have a popcorn machine that cranks out buttery kernels you can munch on while you’re sipping your cold one. Beer and pizza prices are super reasonable. The pizza is SOOOO good. I love their sauce. Their extra large pizza is huge but great for having leftovers the next day. We got our pizza the other night with onions, mushrooms, pepp & cheese and it was wonderful. I would give the place 5 stars however am holding back 1 star since they do not deliver. Yeah call me mean, but I am lazy and when I have a craving for their pizza I have to get my lazy a** up and get it myself. Wow that sounds really really lazy but still… get with the times & hire yourself a delivery driver. I am confident their businesses would grow leaps and bounds. Ok so when comapring FP to Benny’s, the reason I like FP is because it seems more homemade to me if you will. I like FP sauce WAY better too, oh and their crust. I’m usually not a crust kinda girl but I find myself eating FP where I leave the ends of the crust on the plate at Benny’s. If you’re in the ville and haven’t tried FP, I highly encourage you to rustle the family together and give them a try, you won’t be sorry.
