I’m writing this because I was searching for the phone # of Carolina Tri on google, and saw that they have a low rating??? WTF. This place is great!.. with a huge selection of(mainly) Specialized bikes to choose from. Greenville is a hot spot for cyclists, and from my 3+ years of living and cycling in Greenville, I can say that Carolina Tri is a big part for this area to be thriving on 2 wheels. Despite not buying my previous bike from them, the staff is super helpful, friendly and attentive. You can tell it’s not a huge franchise by the«flair» on the wall, and the whimsical mechanic station. Even though I bought my previous bike somewhere else, I take it here to have major repairs or pick up some chamois butt’r… mmmmmm

I got a bike fitting for a bike I purchased elsewhere. The reservation was easy to make, and the process was very thorough and professional. It wasn’t expensive, and was very much worth it. I’ll definitely be making all my triathlon-related purchases from here. Also, you can’t be the location, right across from the stadium!

Haven’t had a chance to buy a bike from them. But they have good customer service. When I bought a rear bike rack from here, that, after a month of use, I was quite displeased with due to its poor design and quality. Ben, in the shop in the back, took the time to listen to my complaints, provided suggestions to remedy my problem, and ultimately worked with me to reach a mutually beneficial solution. I was able to return it for half-retail-cost in-store credit, even though I was outside their return policy. In the end, they got more of my money because I used my store credit to buy a better, more expensive rack from them. Again, great customer service! My only real complaint is that they would sell such an inferior product in the first place. But, then again, I guess triatheletes don’t usually attach racks to their bikes.
