Ribs were not seasoned at all. Just meat covered with sauce. I get that they don’t want to offend Grandma and Grandpa with too much seasoning but none? Besides, when’s the last time Grandma or Grandpa ordered ribs? Anyway, could only eat a few and got sick afterwards. Just awful. Wish they’d listen. I really wanted to like this restaurant.

Food is typical 99 food. I’ve never been disappointed with the food. However, the service is hit or miss, even when they aren’t busy. Some waiters/waitresses have been great, others have been bad enough to the point that we think twice before going there. The managers need to take a hard look at their staff at this location and dump the chumps.

The place is great, quiet & relaxing even with the huge bar area. The food is cheap and delicious and the serving size will fill you up! The only problem with it was that they were short staffed and our food took forever to get to our table. Our waiter(who seemed very nice) barely came around to our table to check if we needed anything. Aside from that, I suggest you hit it up.

Good service, even in the holiday, from reception to server to manager, all super nice attitude. And the food met all expectations ;) the whole family of 9 people have a very happy time here :)

This place is much better than I expected. Similar in cost and flavor to a chilis or Applebee’s.

Wow was it horrible! Our waiter was new and 100% inattentive. He didn’t take dirty dishes from us, didn’t give us enough silverware, and rarely came around to check on us. I wanted another drink after I finished the cocktail I ordered, but it was twenty minutes before he came by again so that I could ask for a second drink. My New Orleans shrimp was horrific. The shrimp was so overcooked it was mushy and everything was drenched in oil. The brownie was frozen so it was hard to eat. The waiter spilled my pineapple cake martini while offering it to me, but it was tasty. The martini was the best part of the meal.

Tried to give them another chance as my kids kept asking to go and we were in between soccer games. Service had improved since our last visit however there was no place to go but up. Food was definitely average. Fried shrimp for $ 15 with warm coleslaw. My kids both had salad that was wilted because it say under a heat lamp waiting for the grilled chicken. Just poor quality. Not worth it. Many other chain restaurants in the area.

If I could give a 2.5 I would. We live within walking distance of this 99, and were happy when they first announced they were going to take over the closed Ruby Tuesday’s location. Our experience with this 99 has been spotty at best. We’ve had one decent meal there but it was a weeknight and they weren’t too busy. Service is consistently slow. We’ve called ahead to arrange for seating like they tell you to do, and when we get there we still have to wait 20 to 30 minutes to be seated. Our last experience a few weeks ago was with a take-out order. We called in our order for two burgers and a salad, which were not ready at the time we were told they would be. Then at home we found both burgers were overdone. We ordered them medium and they were both well done. Actually one tasted burnt! Plus the fries were frigid on both orders. It’s a shame they can’t get their act together.

I have been to other 99s always a min 3 to 5 star experience. This location just F N sucks. I wish you could give zeros. My waiter was lousy I dont know if he was to old to remember us but he never came back to ask us how is everything or would you like another soda ect. We didnt order our meal with our app so the manager came over like we broke the law by not ordering right then and pretty much required the order right then as they were swamped. LOL there was a total of 10 people between three tables . We ordered the mound of nachos with all the fixings. When it came it was flat and no sour cream as we requested extra. It looked like some one puked on a pile of crushed nachos. Of course the waiter brought the meal right after the puke nachos came to the table. Only thing good about the meal was the fries. I would like to say having nothing to wash it down with sucked. Lets not get started on the bathrooms went to pee and there was shit stains on the wall and place smelled like piss no way was this place washed in last 24 hours. Then the old man came with the bill all grumpy hell the ghost of the grim reaper standing behind him at least smiled. He didnt even offer us a refill or desert. The other two tables where in plain sight and I never seen him or the so called manager offer them more drinks or desert. That manager couldnt manage his own heart beat. I know dam well the server couldnt sell pussy on a troop train during world war two. I will never return to this 99 should be –99 this one would be good to bring other restaurants there to show what not to do!!!

Horrible service! Had some old dude as the server. my god he was horrible. no place being a waiter. Started off by ordering the cheese chips. didn’t want to order the meal at the same time because i hate getting it in the middle of my appetizer so told him we needed a few min on choosing a meal. he looked pissed that he had to come back. manager comes by a few minutes later and asks if we are ready to order. rushing us. said the other guy was«swamped»(there was only three tables in the whole place with patrons. but I guess that’s swamped). so we ordered figuring enough time went past… first the chips come out and there is no sour crème on it. very blah food. but oh well. then of course the meal comes out half way through us being done with the chips… sigh. got the roastbeef dip sandwich. and the sandwich was barely able to be dipped in the tiny cup they provide. guess they are trying to save on jus. server NEVER came back. even to ask us for a refill. not once. we just never saw him. neither did the table behind us. I guess between him and the manager they could only handle one table… I mean seriously. If three tables is swamped. you need a new line of work. He finally brought us the check. and didn’t even bother to ask if we wanted desert. just said let me leave this with you and walked away. My brother who usually tips a ridiculous 30−40% only gave him 5 bucks tip and I thought that was too generous. won’t be back again. really bad.

Went because I got a gift card for Xmas ordered a steak ordered it medium and must have been left in the broiler while they were overloading our mashed potatoes with garlic couldn’t eat them back to the steak had to ask the manager for a chainsaw to cut the piece was Burnt to a crisp! She even said while I was cutting it that’s definitely not medium and didn’t even want a new one because it took like 20 minutes to get our plates and the place was dead and by the time I got the salad they brought me my girlfriend was done with her plate just unsatisfied both of us were my girlfriend didn’t even enjoy her meal and my broccoli was ice cold to top it off

If I could give 3.5 stars I would. Been here a couple of times and had 2.5 and 4.5 experiences. The 2.5 was when we stopped in with a group for my daughter’s birthday and the waitress was so incompetent and unpleasant that we left; today was a 4.5 when 3 of us stopped in for lunch. Bud Select is always a good value here and the boneless wings are usually good. I had the classic burger which seemed to be frozen patties but I must have been hungry because it was good. Service was good and there wasn’t a wait to be seated, so I would return again.

An unusually poor experience today. My friend and I are long-time 99 veterans. We’ve been going to 99s for more than 20 years. Today, we had what may have been the poorest 99 experience ever. It started with bring seated at a high-boy table, right at the exit of the kitchen. Not a great spot, but no big deal. Yet. More on the seating in a minute. Out server stopped by, said hello and said she’d be right back. By the time she got back, we were ready to order, so we went ahead and ordered. I ordered the Chicken Tender Dinner. I asked for them to make it Gold Fever Style with fries and biscuits for the sides. The server seemed to have a little trouble understanding what I wanted. The biscuits aren’t normally offered as one of the sides for that dish, but all the other 99s have handled the request with no trouble. My friend asked for the same thing as me, but instead of biscuits, he wanted double fries. When the waitress brought the drinks over, there was no lime in my drink, which I asked for, and my friend’s Pepsi was very light on syrup, so it was like tonic water. The waitress did catch this ahead of time and mentioned that she would change out the machine and bring him a fresh one. This took a few extra minutes but that’s not unexpected. She brought out our meals and we knew immediately that something was wrong. The chicken and fries looked pretty messy on the plate and there was no blue cheese dressing for dipping. We asked for some and she brought it out. As for the portions: they were not at all the same. I got about 15 pieces of chicken and my buddy got only 8. He and I had the same amount of fries, despite his request for double. He mentioned it to the waitress and she sorta shrugged and said she was sure it was a double order. Not so cool. Remember I mentioned the seating issue? Well, from this odd high-top table, I was facing the ladies’ room. Well I didn’t notice until about halfway through the meal that whenever the door was opened, I had an unobstructed view into the rest room and the stalls. Not too cool. The management there needs to make a decision to stop seating that table. When the waitress stopped in for the first check in and asked how things were, my friend started to mention his issues with the portion on his meal. She again, sorta shrugged it off and walked away when he was talking to her. When she finally came back, he asked to speak to the manager. She said she would ask the manager to stop by the table. After about 10 minutes, she stopped back and asked if the manager had visited yet. Um, no. Not yet. She went and asked her again to stop by and the manager finally did. Her name was Gina. My friend said he felt that there was something unusual about the portions. He mentioned the two wildly different amounts of chicken, and the pretty clear lack of double fries. Gina said that the meal should come with 9 chicken fingers and that the server didn’t mention on the order that we wanted them tossed in sauce. Since the kitchen had to remove them from the plate and toss them, that was probably the reason for the disparity of the serving sizes. If he wanted, she would have another piece of chicken brought out. A little too little, a little too late. When he asked about the fries, she offered to bring out some more fries. Again. Weak offer. Gina didn’t offer any more help than«Thanks for bringing it to my attention.» That was it. She left. She didn’t offer to write off the meal, or even offer a discount. Not only that, but she didn’t even offer an apology. She seemed the feel that my buddy was complaining for no good reason. Completely unacceptable. When you ask to speak to a manager, there is an expectation that he or she will come see you, and make an effort to make things right. Gina fell way short on this one. She was not only unhelpful, but seemed unfazed by the complaint. For a decent 99 experience, you might want to skip the Framingham location. Go to one of the many other, much better locations.

Very nice location it looks like it’s been redone looks very new and modern. The service has been very professional very friendly and very attentive. I ordered the turkey burger it was cooking very well in the center but the fries were a little on the soggy side.

This place is just awesome! Can’t believe how good and how well priced their steaks are! My husband had the 12oz royal sirloin which came with 2 sides! Huge portions and really good taste(I helped myself to his plate :) I have the warm buttery lobster roll! Oh my! Soooo good! Came with a complimentary bowl of clam shower too which I didn’t think would be that good thinking it’s not a seafood place but it was exceptionally good! All their food and service is wonderful and we are definitely going back :)))

Not happy with my experience here at all. The service was super slow and the food was below average. I got the chicken pot pie. It was the saltiest thing I’ve ever eaten and the chicken was cut into huge chunks that wasn’t even soft. It was difficult to eat. My boyfriend got the chicken and sausage pasta. It was bland… literally tasted like nothing. The only thing we liked was the fried mozzarella. If you check out this place, you might be happy with your meal if you only get the fried mozzarella. We waited for our waitress to grab the check for about 10 minutes. This restaurant is completely empty at this point so there’s no reason not to pop in more often. We called another waitress over but she blatantly looked at us, and ignored us. We were already unhappy with our experience here, and this did not help. I don’t recommend this place. Poor service and mediocre food.

This location recently opened and took over a good spot in town. It started off a little rocky as their grand opening was shut down early due to some plumbing issues. However it seems business and quality have picked up nicely. We had some family in town and needed a close dinner option that wasn’t Olive Garden! Our waitress was great, the food was good and the general atmosphere was inviting. For me I had the combo plate(forgot the name) which was ribs, steak and chicken. It was amazing, flavorful and filling for sure. I can see us going back here again, plus they give you bowls of popcorn and have sports on TV, what’s not to love?

So first visit to this 99. I had little expectation as I have been to a 99 in the past and it is mediocre but the food is OK and the price worth it; not this time. The«greeter» was odd, he was chatty but too much. I expect that my responsiveness set the tone for how much/little I want to be engaged(while I wait for my party to arrive). I also found it odd that he had conversation with another employee in the front about his experiences at other restaurants, which he named. Maybe I should try them? There was no wait, my guess due to the hour and day of the week(Tuesday), and there being low volume. The server was pleasant, the food OK, the price«Crazy! high»; but they pack them in on the Weekend?! We sat at a table in the«Bar area»; it was unexpected that we could clearly hear the dietary issues of the bartender as he spoke with a customer at the bar(he was loud). I have a two consecutive strikes rule, so I will be back at least one more time.

I would rather give a 2.5. I was not impressed with this location. The service was extremely slow. The food at this location was OK but not great. I got the turkey tips dinner. The turkey tips were good but had way too much sauce — basically tasted and had the texture of chicken. The side of squash I got was disgusting and this awful brown color. It looked like apple sauce gone bad. I hope the service can get better here as it is a great location!

I have been waiting for this 99 to open for months. If I were on death row and had to choose a last meal, 99 Gold Fever wings would probably make its way onto my list. I went for the first time around 6pm on a Tuesday and there was only a 5 minute wait. Acceptable. We ordered the gold fever wings and nachos(the manager tried to persuade us to add Chili on them, and seemed rather excited about it, but we said no. as we had a movie to attend after and did not want to set ourselves up for bathroom failure) to share. The food came out very quickly and was terrific. Our waitress was Keri and she was great. she was very outgoing and chatted us up a bit. We ended up giving a big ass tip because she was just that good… and because she was hot. I then went again a few weeks later and this time our waitress was Tamika. She was also very nice and super energetic. She is allergic to shellfish, so don’t be a dick and order seafood if you get her.(Tameka, if you’re reading this, I gotcha back, girl) She checked on us a bunch and was very helpful In conclusion, food was yummy, service was great.
