Popped by here for a quick snack of two sides of the Turnpike to the shop. Interesting that the receipt has a different address (something else local on Moulton Park Road, but I suspect that’s another store owned by the same guy).
The lady in the back was whispering to the guy not to fill up the containers too much; I didn’t like to hear that!
The corn was stale and drier than normal; not particularly tasty.
The mac & cheese, though, all the ooey goodness you’ve come to expect. That did not disappoint.

A quick and delicious stop on our drive back from Boston.
The Rotisserie chicken sandwiches were SO good and probably a foot long. The bread– very fresh, and overfilled with juicy chicken, veggies and dressing.
All that for $ 6. For $ 2 more we added each a side and a HUGE fountain drink. The sweet potato and mac and cheese were a tasty complement to our sandwiches. Next time I’d want to try the creamed spinach.
All in all: fast, fresh, inexpensive and very generous portion sizes.

You can’t beat this — fresh, roasted chicken and predictable but good side dishes like mashed potatoes with gravy and spinach. Or you can make it a salad. Prices are low, no frills environment, but great to grab for lunch. Good fresh brewed ice tea.
