Historic inn in a beautiful little town. The setting is very nice with lots of historical value. It is a very rustic place, so be prepared to have things to do during your stay. We found the room very neat and clean and the bed comfortable. They could use better lighting since it was either the overhead light or a tiny lamp on the bedside table which made it hard to read with either one. Overall, a nice place to stay on your way through town!

Every now and then you just need to get away, away from the mainstream hotel chain such as Hilton. Mariott, and such to simply Enjoy. Appreciate what the simple life used to be.
This historical site was built back in the 1800’s is such a hidden gem, living is simple, and each building provides all the necessary amenities as well as breakfast. The back of the hotel is a Dam, but Texas has gone through a terrible drought therefore the river bed is dry. Worth checking out.
