I just got a ranchers plate for $ 17. Worst BBQ I’ve ever had. I should have checked the Unilocal reviews first. Ribs with no meat on them. Sausage is flavorless and may be raw brisket was only 50% edible. Rest was gristle and fat. My water was good!

Absolutely the worst bill millers location ever. Terrible service. Portion size is like getting a child plate. No BBQ sauce on the condiment bar like at EVEROTHERBMINEXISTENCE. Makes you wonder if corporate ever spot checks their restaurants because this one just doesn’t cut it. Every time I visit there is always some issue where they are out of the norm of every bill millers I have ever visited from San Antonio to Austin. I was so glad this one opened because it is just up the street when visiting relatives but it’s been one bad experience after another. From now on I will skip this BM and go right to the DQ.

I haven’t had a bad experience at this Bill Millers. It’s in a convenient location in Castroville and I specifically like how the drive-thru is set-up at this location. No complaints!

This is my least favorite Bill Miller’s that I have ever visited. I usually love Bill Miller’s, from their brisket plates to their fried chicken to their salads. Their salads are one of my favorite salads in San Antonio. It isn’t fancy, but a salad de-lite contains a regular lettuce salad with tomatoes, julienned carrots, sliced red onion, topped with BBQ chicken, and ranch dressing, shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon on the side. I don’t know what kind of ranch they use, but it is addicting! I got their salad at this particular location. Tasted just as great as the salads at any other location. The service, however, was not good. When I walked into the restaurant, no one was behind the counter to take my order. There were other customers in the restaurant, so I stood there confused until someone finally walked up. The entire time I was ordering, she made it seem like I was inconveniencing her by being there at that time. She handed me my tea without a lid, and again made it seem like I was inconveniencing her when I asked for one later. I’m usually not picky about service, but it really, really seemed like the lady who was taking my order did NOT want to be there. I’m pretty sure she’s the manager too, so it reflected poorly on all the employees.

Let me just say that the service at Bill Miller has always been great. The young ladies behind the counter have been sweet and helpful. The dining room is clean. However, the food here is awful. Terrible. My friend and I came in about an hour before closing and ordered a BBQ turkey plate and fried chicken. It all tasted like it had been sitting out for hours and reheated. There was a film on my beans and bread was stake. Just awful! I hate writing negative things so that’s how bad it was.

Let me just get to the point. Went through the drive thru in Castroville, TX and ordered the Bill Miller breakfast. The girl asked me to repeat my order 5 times and laughed the whole time. I added 2 orders of «griddle cakes» and she proceeded with laughing and then told me «it sounds funny the way you are saying it» then I changed it to PANCAKES. She then laughed and said, «oh, okay» and then she really couldn’t contain her laughter and talking to someone else over the microphone as if I was incompetent when that is how Bill Miller’s has their pancakes as griddle cakes. After speaking with the manager a young lady, she didn’t seem to care, she said the girl was new. When you have a new employee someone superior should be guiding her. I’m not sure who is doing the training there but they need a new manager in charge! Customer Service at the Castroville location SUCKS!!! This isn’t my first«bad» experience at this location but it’s the only one by my house. I will definitely be making a drive to a different location as the one in Castroville has left a bad experience and I will not be returning.
