This is a nice place. I had been waiting for a couple months to try it after moving to a new house perhaps like 5 minutes away. I had a gift card as well and came one night with my wife and my in-laws. The environment is definitely nice. The service was quick once we sat down and the wait on a Saturday night was barely 10 minutes. I ordered the spicy tuna bowl and it was a little different than I expected. Not in a bad way. It just wasn’t spicy. It also had this passion fruit salsa on the side that was bit tangy… darn right bitter at times. We also ordered the bang bang chicken as an appetizer which was a hit at our table. Our waitress was real nice and attentive. The price wasn’t bad for this place. I’d like to check it out again perhaps for happy hour or something along those lines.

One of the best dining environments in Cape Coral. While I generally enjoy the laid back vibe and informality of the Cape, it’s nice to stop here once in a while and enjoy exceptional service in a more polished setting. The staff here are always very good and the gentlemen behind the bar take it up another notch. They truly give 5 Star customer service. Thoughts and Recommendations: Reservations are highly recommended. Otherwise, you can expect a lengthy wait. This is a great environment for Date Night. I have frequent day-dreams about the Corn Chowder with Crab. It is my all-time favorite menu item. A bowl with their signature artisan bread makes a complete budget-friendly meal when my appetite isn’t huge. Bang Bang Shrimp never disappoint and you can split this appetizer and feel like you had a nice amount. For Brunch I enjoy the Surf Turf Eggs Benedict.

Realizing this is a chain I did enjoy the food at this restaurant. The Bang Bang Shrimp was excellent a nice heat that hit you but not to hot. I had the Fish Tacos and really enjoy led these although there were three in the plate and I couldn’t finish all three. Nice bar selection. Great attentive service without rushing you through your dinner. Also, extremely clean establishment.

The special Pompano«crusted with crab» was sufficiently tough and hard for resoling your shoes. Strangely the green beans were undercooked. And the Jasmine rice was a glue ball. I ate at Red Lobster for lunch that day and everything about that meal was superior to what I received from Bonefish Grill.

We went here on New Year’s Eve at 5:30. We had a party of eight. I could not have been more impressed with the service or the food! Cassandra was our server, along with other helpers. She smiled as she kept on top of every detail. Drinks came fast and were refilled as needed. Appetizer plates were promptly removed. Bread kept coming. All eight entrees arrived at exactly the same time. I had lollipop lamb chops for an app and they were amazing! My entrée was the ribeye steak, cooked perfectly and a large portion. I had green beans and broccolli. They were both buttered and seasoned perfectly. I can’t say enough about how impressed I was. I can’t wait to return.

4.5 stars Here is some chit chat and my 2 cents on the food. Well my five years mission of finding a place that knows how to make a Brandy Separator has ended. This is the first and only eatery or bar where the staff on duty knew how to make my drink of 30 years from California. Thumbs up. Now onto the food aspect. Though this is a chain they pride themselves on creating everything from scratch. I went with their star item of tempura style fried fish and the side of spinach. It truly was tempura and they had malt vinegar on the side. It was cooked to perfection. They change side dishes often so you need to ask.(but the fries are always ready to go). I got the sauté spinach with garlic. I love garlic.(Garlic ice cream at the Gilroy, Ca. Garlic Festival.) But in this case the garlic was overwhelming. But they apologize and remade it for me. It was delish. Over all it was a great meal with outstanding service. Thank you Joe and the entire staff for a good experience.

Still a favorite of ours. Espresso Martini while the wife orders Ocean Trust Martini followed by Bang Bang Shrimp. Friendly bartenders and clean. A couple of TVs in the bar to follow the game. Decent background music. Of course bread is awesome.

My husband and I had dinner here with my parents and all four of our meals were outstanding! I had the watermelon martini which was refreshingly delicious. I had the raw fresh Oysters and they were nice and fresh and a good size. And for dinner I had the grouper and it was amazing! I cleaned my plate. The portions are perfect, the flavors are spot on and everything was cooked perfectly.

My wife and I frequent Bonefish Grill Cape Coral at least 4 times a month. We love the food and its consistency. We were taken back by a new employee(who I think said he was a manager in training) named Randy. He was absolutely charming! Randy spent more time talking about food and wine than I have ever encountered as a frequent diner. Thank you Bonefish and Randy.

Awesome place, probably my favorite place to eat in the cape. I always know I’m going to get delicious food, and reliable service. Food is always incredible, décor lovely, prices very reasonable, staff friendly and professional, clean restaurant, I’ve been many times and never left dissatisfied. One thing I would wish they would consider changing is their music not be mainstream pop. Kinda annoying when the customers sitting next to you drinking martini after martini start singing like they’re Brittany spears or Katy perry or Janet Jackson. :/blues, jazz, or steel drum music would be cool and less distracting :/

Make me wait after giving away our reservation on Father’s Day when I have two little kids and I’m meeting my husband after work and it’s heavily raining sideways? That’s how I feel right now as I stand crammed in their foyer like a sardine. I plan to make nothing easy about this meal– my hubby is stubborn and wants to stay, so we’re stuck. Happy Father’s Day, dear.

Back after a nine month hiatus and lured by coupons. We stopped on a Friday night ~ 8PM off season. Same excellent service as in the past. Waiter was very attentive to all our needs. Bang bang shrimp was, well, bang bang shrimp; that is to say, good. My wife ordered salmon as usual, and it was good. It’s pretty hard to screw up grilled salmon. I need to learn that Bonefish is strictly a chain restaurant. They don’t do regional specialties well. I ordered an «authentic» New England lobster roll. I spent the first 57 years of my life living in Massachusetts and know a few things about«authentic» New England lobster rolls. I know they start with a well toasted, buttery tasting roll. Not a partially warmed, mostly steamed, cut in half roll. I know that lobster salad is lobster, mayo and celery, with a few varying seasonings, I know that the lobster is claw and tail chunks not pieces of ground up leftovers that should go only into a lobster bisque. And most of all, I know the lobster should taste like fresh lobster, not like it came from a can or had been previously frozen. Bonefish failed across the board here, and badly. There were a few pieces of claw, the very tip, but the rest was ground bits of lobster or rock lobster or langoustino that had no taste whatsoever. I will return someday, but I’ll be in no hurry and only when I have due compensation in coupons. I’ll order something generic like grilled shrimp and scallops. I also noticed Bonefish’s menu now has many more non-fish offerings than it used to have. That ought to tell you(and me) something. Bonefish is a chain restaurant, no more — no less, designed for those who like mainstream offerings, but not for anyone who knows what good, fresh fish tastes like. This area has so many good fish restaurants that it’s a shame to waste your money on Bonefish Grill.

We have been to this BG several times since management changed. Although we take much in stride at all the restaurants in this area, one thing we praised was the absolute dead on perfection of the fish entrees. Forget about the starters, deserts, fancy cocktails… we just loved the fish above most any other spot. Last night was the third time we both looked at each other and said, it just wasn’t very good?! Unhappily. The crab crusted pompano was an abuse of the fish… overcooked and greasy… the crab? Spots strewn scantily was a mockery. And you know, I invented steamed to a slight tender crunch green bean!,…well Bonefish has taken it to a new extreme. basically the vegetables we had were awful. the beans, the snow pod peas, the broccoli. We even chose a poor wine selection, Conumbron? Our fault. I had the lobster tail. The best part? The bartender fixed a Cosmo that was great. Sadly, we will not be going here very often as the food isn’t better than our other top choices. Please do something to fix the issues.

We dined here the other night. My husband and I both began with martinis, which we enjoyed. I had the ahi tuna sashimi, which was a starter on the menu, but I ordered it dinner sized, with 2 deliciously steamed fresh vegetables. The sashimi was beautiful and tasty and was served with tons of ginger and good wasabi, which is important to me. My husband enjoyed his shrimp and scallop firepot. Servers were gracious and helpful. The décor was pleasant. I’m happy we found a restaurant where I could enjoy fresh seafood and not overdo the calories. And, yes, this is a chain, which is why it deserved 5 stars for a chain restaurant.

The best meal we have had in the cape in a long time. Waitress was attentive and the manager knew how to run the front and back of the restaurant. Had 1 problem but it was rectified in a manner I almost feel guilty for mentioning it.

Bonefish Grill is the only chain restaurant I will admit to frequenting, and I think they are deserving of 5 stars as far as chain restaurants go. I’ve been a handful of times for happy hour and dinner and I’ve never had anything I didn’t like. They make good martinis and have a great beer selection. BFG also offers specials that change daily and decent happy hour pricing. They prepare their fish excellently. Yeah, entrees are a liiittle bit pricey, but very worth it in my opinion. I’ve tried the mahi mahi, ahi tuna, and my personal favorite — Chilean sea bass. You don’t even need a sauce with it, it’s rich and perfect on its own. The bang bang shrimp appetizer is great too. They’re lightly breaded and tossed in a sweet, tangy sauce that has a nice kick to it. It seemed like every other table was also indulging on some bang bang shrimp tonight! Service has always been on point as well, professional with a nice mix of personal.
