This is more of a sit down restaurant then a regular pizza joint. I ordered one large cheese & one pepperoni, the bill was shockingly $ 32. The pizza is extremely thin crust. Def not worth $ 32!

The pizza is pretty good, we got the Hawaiian which was very tasty with the balsamic. We also got cheese frittas as an appetizer, which was alright. The problem is the restaurant is COLD!!! We got coats from the car, and the pizza gets cold fast too. Blustery, the menus flap on the breeze! Brrrr! Shame really, otherwise it was really good.

Tried it for the first time last Friday evening. Great salad and good pizza but very slooooow service as it took 45+ minutes to get the pizza. Server went into hiding after the third time she told me the pizza would be right out. I doubt that I’ll go back.

One of the nicest places in Cape Coral. If you haven’t tried this place, it is totally worth giving it a shot. The staff are all professionals and very friendly. The salads are big enough to share and the calamari is the best I have had in a long time, perfecto! Not at all greasy like you usually find. Do yourself a favor and skip the chain restaurants. PLUS there is more on the menu than just pizza but the pizza is delicious too. If you ever read my reviews, I’m hard to please and I’m a hard core foody.

Dante Pizza, Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat. After 5 years of receiving coupons I decide to give them a try. I went for the lunch special of 6.95 messzula sandwich or such. It was 2 bucks off the regular price. It also included a salad. This was a wednesday after noon. My server Stefanie did a outstanding job. As I was about to pick the ground beef item I was told they were out of ground beef.(Hmmm a pizza joint out of beef in the midweek) Well I did not let it faze me. I tried the romano messzula sandwich. My choice. A very bad choice. Now the ingredients were very fresh and it was toasted properly. But for me it suck. It was basically a pizza shell folded in half toasted with melted cheese arugula and some tomatoes. I hate arugula. I tried adding parmasan cheese, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes to improve the flavor. It was a classic no flavor no taste made item for the floridian and vegetarians palette. My Server was very nice and told me I could exchange it for something else. I refuse I made the decision and did not want the eatery to pay for my bad choice. But on a good note. The salad I was given was excellent. No typical iceberg lettuce here. Olives a bit onions tomatoes and walnuts. Walnuts had to go though. Anyway I will be back and try the coal fire pizza. I will wait for some more coupons though.

The first time my husband and I came here I was preparing to be disappointed because we’re from Chicago and kind of pizza snobs. No disappointment here – the pizza was delicious! Great little place. Nice bar. Great service. We keep going back and have never been disappointed. Today we tried the antipasto appetizer and it was excellent. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

Walking through the door gets your hopes up. What arrives at the table fails to meet your expectations. The way they’re cooking is great but the sauce and pizza crust need help. Too bad, we really wanted this to be better. This is a very nice looking place. The staff are pleasant and there’s a bar. Just a let down for what it could be. Additionally, you pay more for a similar order here than you would at other places. Paying more for a disappointing experience? Not fun.

Food was great, service was great. Pizza is best locally and coal fired wings were very good. Have been there several times and good experience is consistent. Definitely recommend.

So Dantes Italian is the latest stop. We came in a week ago and had pizza it was very very good. We decided to give it a try for dinner tonight and came back for Italian meals instead of pizza. The food was ok they don’t even give you bread with meal without an up charge but come on the drinks are lame and measured. Seriously look at this glass of house wine for $ 8 it’s about 4ozs honestly and my wife’s mixed drink is puny!

After being highly recommended we were hugely disappointed. Waited 80 minutes for a 10 inch pizza and a half a rack of ribs. Apparently the to go customers take priority over those that are actually seated in their restaurant. Definitely will not be returning.

Two of us went to Dante’s Coal Fired Pizza after finish a project in Cape Coral. The restaurant is located at the end of mall along SW Pine Island Road with many other restaurants nearby. Once inside, the décor is nice with coordinating lightning fixture. The booth is spacious and clean. From our seat, you can see the pizza maker tossing dough and using the peel to take things from the coal fired oven! The Bar side has a nice collection of wine from Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, to Montepuliciano and Chianti as well as cocktail like strawberry Mojito or Limoncello Martini! My friend was hunger for ravioli — so he ordered mushroom ravioli with garlic, basil, and parmesan cream sauces. He absolutely loved that ravioli! I originally wanted the Capricciosa Pizza but that is only for a 16″ pie. I changed the order to Piccolo Pizza with Italian sausage. Just enough sausage without overwhelming the cheese and crispy crust. I devoured every bit of this pie! Red pepper flakes, garlic powder and oregano are available on the table but it is not need to enhance their flavor. The waitress is amazingly friendly, attentive and quick to refill beers. Definitely will be back to try the other signature pies and a nice place to hangout!

Spacious and clean with a family friendly atmosphere. Service is good. Pizzas are delicious, they have that chewy/crispy coal fired texture. Last time I was there I was really impressed with their wings. Would definitely recommend.

Delicious crust and generous toppings. The Italian salad was delicious too. Very pleased with the service and ambiance too! They have a small outdoor seating area and nice bar. Highly recommend!

6 stars out of 5! Perhaps the best pizza I have ever had. The sauce was slightly sweet which gave it that special and unique flavor. The pepperoni were the kind that curl up and get crunchy in the oven. Perfect amount of sauce and cheese. Antipasto appetizer and meatball slider appetizer at the table over looked amazing. Menu items included pasta dishes, wings, salads, and ribs as well as many different pizza options. Desserts looked yummy as well. Great atmosphere and clean restrooms(which is so important to me as a mom)! Good for adults in the bar area, but fun for kids too with the chefs throwing dough and being able to see inside the coal ovens. If your in the area and in the mood for pizza, check it out for SURE!

Bad service. The food wasn’t bad, just way over priced. Wish I had tried the pizza. We got a calzone and it had almost no toppings. I did see someone else get a pizza and it looked great though. Fried Mozzarella was really great though!

When we go out, we’re expecting good food and these a days a perfect service. This evening… it was a disaster. We ordered a strawberry mojito(7,25 dollar), a draft Bud(1 dollar) and a coke(2,75 dollar). The mojito was fresh but more a lemonade than a cocktail. We started with a bruschetta(9 dollar). It seemed to be coal fired too(it was crispy) but not good enough and certainly too expensive. My men ordered the pizza deluxe(20 dollar) — 16 inch. I ordered the small version of a margerita(12 dollar). Not happy with the quality… The taste and the mozzarella were not good. We ended with a cheesecake(6 dollar), a tiramisu(7 dollar) and a coffee(3 dollar). Our waitress was Ashlyn. Friendly but… she needs to check some ‘details’: I got a dirty cup(!!!) and one of the dishes was also(!!!) dirty. There was(good) live music but for the rest… I do not recommend the place.

I want to give this place a 5 star rating because the look of the place and the food was great. I had no complaints. I need a second try tho because I came during lent and didn’t allow myself to eat their meat products. I had their Hawaiian pizza which I liked and that nutella dessert thing was GREAT. The live musician was actually really good. You know it’s good when you can’t really complain about their skill or song choice. It just sounds great to either listen to or have in the background. This place worked for our group of like 10 and the price seemed reasonable. Hopefully on my second trip I’ll be able to bump this up to a 5.

I had this bookmarked because I love trying new things and also it was almost rated 5 star… When you pull up and walk in you feel like your in Naples, it’s very noce clean-rich looking… Like your not in the cape. but I swear looks can be deceiving. We order a pepperoni pizza to go and when we finally ate it… It just wasn’t … What I expected. I’d have to say papa johns or dominoes pizza was better. I mean my favorite two places for pizza are NYP and Tony saccos. This places pizza didn’t even the criteria of Papa johns and that’s pretty damn low. Even the service was weird id say not too professional for how it looks. Idk. Won’t come here again. 2 stars for looking nice other wise I’d give it 1.
