This is our absolute favorite place to get breakfast. All of the food we’ve had is good, the omelettes are delicious, and the pancakes are our FAVORITE ever. I don’t know what they put in them, but there is a subtle sweet flavor that is intoxicating and they’re so fluffy that we’ll even eat them without syrup. The biscuits/gravy are probably the thing we’ve liked least on the menu. Not bad, just not how we prefer them. Portions are large, which we take advantage of by bringing home leftovers. The staff are nice and helpful, and food usually comes out pretty quick. I’ve taken my whole family(about 10 people) and had no trouble, but the dining room isn’t that big so I wouldn’t recommend that on a late morning in the spring. They do have several large booths that seat 6, though. In case you go and are wondering — when they give you the check you pay at the counter. I like don’t like awkwardly not knowing, but the servers are pretty good about telling you.

Great breakfast spot. Went here on a Saturday morning around 11:00 am and the place was very busy with a 15 minute wait for a table. Service was five stars with constant coffee refills. We got a booth to sit after the place cleared out suddenly after 11:15 am. We ordered Biscuits and Gravy, Country Fried Steak, eggs, bacon, and toast. Everything was exceptionally great including the gravy on the two items… delicious! Slices of cantaloupe on every plate too. Will be back as it’s very close to where I live.

I ate here once and I enjoyed it very much! I ordered a meat lover omelette and to this day it wa stage best omelette I have ever had. This place is on my list to eat every time I go back and visit my parents. Looking forward to eating another omelette again.

Excellent food and the portions are large. I would have given this 5 stars however, our waitress was very unfriendly. I will definitely go back and hope for a different server.

My husband and I frequent this establishment often. The service is great. The food is excellent. The only downfall is the wait time.

A nice space in Cape Coral to grab breakfast. There are as the name indicates, many many omelets to choose from. You can obviously make your own, so that’s great. The waitress was great and we were really happy with the service we received. My husband ordered a mushroom cheddar omelet that he said was one of the best he’s ever had. I had a veggie omelet and it was really tasty. What stands out is the side of tomatoes that I ordered. These were literally the tastiest tomatoes I’ve ever eaten in my life. They were perfect. They were ripe, and the texture was incredible. I would have ordered another side of them except we needed to be on our way. Definitely get them! Nothing else really stood out, but this is a for sure go to place. We would come back for sure.

Looking for breakfast in Cape Coral? Go here. Our breakfast was very good, and we will be back.(Note: My bar for stars in Cape Coral is lower than in other cities, i.e., this rating is relative to restaurants in Cape Coral, not anywhere.) I had an omelette, and it was huge and packed with fillings. It can’t say it was the best one I’ve ever had in my life, but it was good. The potatoes were great. Skip the grits. My daughter and husband had pancakes that were fluffy and delicious. My daughter’s pancake was formed into an animal and came with meat – she was so happy! The service was great too – friendly and fast! They went out of their way to announce open seats at the bar and filled my coffee about 100x. Even though it was busy, the food comes out really quickly! Definitely go check them out!

House of Omelets has become our«go-to» place for breakfast and brunch in Cape Coral. They use fresh ingredients and the portions are generous. Some things we especially like: The service is friendly and efficient. Drinks are refilled often and without you needing to ask. The variety of fruit that comes when you order a cup or bowl is exceptional. Rather than 80% cantaloupe and honeydew with a couple bites of other fruit you get at many places, you get a nice variety(often cantaloupe, orange, pineapple, strawberries and grapes). There is a great selection of tasty breakfast bread that comes from a bakery(and not a bag you could buy off a grocery shelf). The omelets are a good choice. I haven’t been a big fan of omelets in the past but I enjoy having them here. Be aware: they are HUGE. The price is right. We’ve encountered a number of places in SW Florida with pricey menus. Our opinion is that prices are very reasonable here. My husband and I had brunch again today and the bill was just over $ 20.

I decided to try this place out last week and I am now a huge fan! Delicious food, friendly staff, and despite always being packed when I go, they are relatively fast in getting your order out to you. I look forward to trying more things in the menu.

Here is my 2 cents on the food and a bit of chit chat. I order the CCC… Cape Coral Choice. choice of meats, toast, 2 eggs, taters etc. for your breakfast. Plus coffee and the Belgian waffle. The coffee was ok. I made the mistake of telling them of surprising me on the toast. They gave me marble rye bread. I have never seen or heard anyone have rye bread as toast for breakfast. EVER. It was ok but I hated it. Rye toast must be a strange southern deal. Anyway eggs and stuff cooked to order… BUT the waffle. I love waffles. I hate Belgian waffles. No choice given here. Why do I hate them. They are NEVER cooked properly as in this case. They are always under cooked. NOT toasted properly. Plus I did specify I only wanted butter & maple syrup(it was already on the table). Mine was brought under cooked with a strawberry and powder sugar on it. I did not wish to wait 5 – 10 minutes for another one. So I kept my mouth shut and muddle through it. In general it was a fairly good breakfast. Some chit chat. I arrived at 1115AM. It was crowded. This is the 2nd time since moving here to Florida I have had to wait at a eatery. It took 15 minutes. I do not hold this against them. The staff was whirling around doing their jobs. It was filled with kids, old people and really fat people. So I guess that’s a good sign of sorts. Once seated I was served quickly. Staff members were outstanding in being nice. A manager stopped by and said Hi. Plus on 4 occasions I was ask to have my coffee warmed up… I find this annoying. If you drink it just black ok… BUT as a lot of folks now a days add sugar and cream… Every time you dilute you must readjust the drink. I guess this my quirk. Over all not too shabby I will return at some point to try the omelets.

Super Frühstück. Restaurant ist immer gut besucht. Nette Bedienung. Leckere Omeletts & klasse Frenchtoast. Liegt ein wenig außerhalb, aber es lohnt sich

Went on a busy, sunny Sunday, wait was expected, waitress friendly, but busy. Waitresses were really moving(looked nice in uniform), busboys not so much,(wonder if they get any tip money?). But really didn’t like manager snapping fingers at t staff, when they were already hustling. Food was just warm when it finally arrived. Will have to go back for another try.

If you come to a house of omelets, you want great omelets. The food comes out relatively quick depending on how busy they are. The omelets are not the best in the world but they are definitely not bad. i would recommend it if you’re in the area and looking for a good breakfast place. The omelette I had was not the best thing ever. I’m sure some of the other options would have been better. Next time I’ll try something different.

Omelets are delicious. Bacon and avocado!!! Scrum delish! Place is always busy, a good sign. Their coffee is good. Not your typical watered down coffee. Staff is very friendly. Multiple employees asked us how our breakfast was. Never make you feel like an inconvenience. Will always recommend!!!

Right down the middle. The food is tastey and quickly prepared BUT… the first few times I ate here, they served a nice heaping portion for the skillets. I ordered a take out, and received the same quality. But then the next few take out orders, the portions were disappointingly small. Now not to sound like a typical fat American, but I pay for a certain product, I expect the same product everytime. If the portions are decreasing so should the price. Anyway, I called for take out today and expressed my concern, upon checking the order at the counter the Sampler was half the size of my Greek order. They tried to tell me one was taller but if so, maybe by a millimeter or two. I was disappointed but they offered to add more to the Sampler which I accepted. They also gave me rye bread when I had ordered white, which they brought out after. But when I asked her to take the rye she said, «keep it feed the birds.» Which was odd and caused more work for me to have to find a trash to throw it away.

Even though the name of the place is house of omelettes, I just wasn’t in a breakfast mood as it was lunch time. So I ordered a tuna melt with fries and it satisfied. Reminded me of tuna melts back in my old diner days. Daughter got omelet with hash browns and said they were perfect. Great service and would come back for breakfast or lunch.

So good. One of my all time breakfast favorites. It’s fresh, relatively fast, and very tasty. The corned beef hash was the homemade variety. Not the mush you get from a can at all. Biscuits are fresh and fluffy, and the accompanying gravy is outstanding. The manager(owner?) seemed to have a firm handle on the kitchen. I witnessed a few minor mistakes come back to the kitchen, and they were fixed immediately without anyone grousing about it in the kitchen. It was a VERY busy weekend morning, and the staff was handling it like pros. Even the lead waitress was assisting with the expediting process by directing her waitresses and catching errors before they made it to the table. When time permitted, the owner came out of the kitchen to oversee other areas of the restaurant, making sure things ran smooth and assisting where necessary. Be prepared for a decent wait on the weekends, but the great food with good prices are definitely worth it. If you leave here hungry, it’s your own fault.

Went here for lunch. It was a nice atmosphere, and the service was fast and friendly. The food was great. I had the Texas burger. It was juicy and the bun was fresh. The fries were crispy but not burnt. We will definitely be back next time we are in Florida.

I wanted to treat my grandparents to brunch, so my stepdad recommended this as a good place to take them. It’s no frills and very homey, which was nice for spending time with my grandparents. They’re diabetic, but my mom was able to find food for them to eat that they could enjoy as a reprieve from their nursing home food. I ordered the salmon omelet, and it was delicious! I couldn’t finish it all because it was gigantic, and came with an equally gigantic portion of home fries. It also came with four slices of toast, but there was no way I had room to even touch them. All in all, it’s a great place to bond with family, and the food is comfort food, and it’s reasonably priced to feed a family gathering.

Great Breakfast Diner:-) Came in with my family to have breakfast and we all loved our meals. I had the Strawberry waffle with 2 eggs over medium and sausage links. It was all great cooked just the way asked. I love the fact that they use fresh fruit, it’s always a plus. Our server was also very friendly and kept on top of things. Great service. We will be back when on that side of town.
