Courtyard Brownsville

Mini vacation with the fam this past weekend I have to say this hotel by far is the best stay I can remember. Everything is super clean and tidy very modern and the beds are the best! Fluffy pillows and memory foam bed. Juan was our contact here he was very nice and professional! I will definitely be coming back here and would gladly recommend this to my family and friends. 106 :)

Excellent Courtyard. Super clean, staff is very helpful and their English is excellent.
Shuttle from the airport will also get you to the local restaurants. I will stay here again!

This is a nice hotel! It’s been updated recently so the lobby looks brand new and the rooms are very nice as well!
That said, I’ve been disappointed by the front desk staff every time I come. They’re not very friendly. When I checked in, the gentleman who checked me in only said 6 words to me: «The Elevators are around the corner.» It certainly wasn’t the welcome I have come to expect being a Silver Member at Marriott. I was also disappointed to find out you have to pay $ 5 for faster internet and they only offer free wifi to check emails and such. I paid the $ 5 for the «faster» internet but it dragged horribly and I couldn’t even use it to access my email. I called down to the front desk and they took the charge off my room, but it was frustrating nonetheless. Another thing that happened in my most recent stay was the deadbolt in my door would not engage. Again, I told the staff and they said they’d look at it. I was only there for a night but I don’t know if they ever did.
Overall, while the hotel looks nice, the front desk staff leaves a lot to be desired as well as the paid wifi… I stay here to get my Marriott Rewards, otherwise I’d go to another hotel.

I have stayed here a couple of times while on business in Brownsville. The rooms are cleaned daily, they have an outdoor pool and hot tub, there is a work out room, the bar offers free appitizers for a couple of hours in the evenings, and a hot breakfast bar is available. The staff has always been courtious, pleasent, and helpful.
The dinner menu at the bar is nothing to right home about but they do have it available if you do not wish to forage out into the town. Drinks are also available with enough tv’s around to keep one occupied.
The hot breackfast consisted of scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, waffles, biscuit and gravy, pancakes, and French toast during the week. They also have cold ceral, hot oatmeal, fruit, pastries, juices and coffee.

As Marriotts go… especially down here in this part of Texas it’s pretty good. This one has a nice little bar, free food for a few hours in the evening, and its in a safe part of town.

Really great hotel in Brownsville! I stayed here for a week in November 2007 with my family and it was awesome! It’s really close to the border and the main mall and shops.
Amenities include public laundry room, great restaurant, excellent housekeeping service, and friendly front desk service. The pool and hot tub are awesome, very appealing setup and I love that its open late!
The price is pretty standard for hotels in the area, but I would suggest staying here for the value. I’ll definitely be staying here again next time I’m visiting Texas!

I stayed here with my children (12 and 15) for 4 nights. The beds and pillows were fantastic. Usually you wish for your own bed when staying in a hotel, but these were really comfortable. The price was a bit more than typical for the area, but totally worth every penny. If we’re ever in Brownsville again we will stay here.

Spent several days here on business. My self and staff all very pleased. Rooms are VERY clean and WELL appointed. WiFi present. Close to Mexican border with Matamoros one of the few cities in Mexico safe. Good restaurant. A good place to stay with no apparent complaints from 14 people – good deal ya’ll
