Solid Subway. Common lunch spot while I’m at work. Staff is fairly friendly and even remembers my standard order. They keep the line moving during lunch rush which is no easy feat in this location.

Not a fan of subway. There’s always this lingering, non-appetizing smell of decent bread that is rather gross and just reminds me of lunch at schools. I’ve had multiple sorts of subs along the years and they were not particularly outstanding. It gets the job done of filling my stomach though. The meatball marinara is good as it can be with meatballs just sitting in a container for a long time. The sauce and meatballs make the bread soggy immediately and it’s just a mess to eat. I’ve also had their chicken sub as their chicken is similarly steaming away in a container for a long time. Contrastly though, I had their spicy Italian sub recently and it wasn’t that terrible, probably since they’re just cold cuts and you can’t really go too wrong with that despite their bread not being particularly good. I think that because of that they’ve redeemed themselves from 2 stars to my rating of 3 stars now.

I may just be biased on this company in general. You watch those commercials on TV and you’re like wow that sandwich looks great. Then you get there and pay $ 8 for a sandwich and your sandwich is lacking not only meat but veggies too. Then you ask for extra pickles and they look at you like you’re a terrorist or something. I know the manager is probably stingy but when you give me 2 slices of roast beef going the long way for a foot long sub, I feel like the least you could do is give me a few pickles to give me some taste besides the taste of the bread.

Every time I decide I want to eat here, it’s closed. It’s probably happened about 5 times already but FINALLY it wasn’t! Pretty standard Subway — they got all them veggies, meats, and cheese that every other Subway would have. Price… I would say it seems to be a bit more expensive than other Subways i’ve been to. Then again, this is the first one i’ve been to in Boston. The staff is pretty much all Chinese and they were speaking Cantonese to each other(I think) while they were making my sandwich. BUT, they were pretty good at making the sandwiches. Very diligent and neat… mmmm… The only sad part about my experience was that they didn’t take student discount so my Oven Roasted Chicken footlong sub came out to be nearly $ 8(minus the chips). Talk about expensive for Subway! I’m used to paying $ 5 with a student discount :(

It’s a subway, like any other subway, really. the staff is nice. there is a Haitian lady who works there who is very friendly. I told her I spoke some Kreyol, and we talked for a bit — she still remembers my name. Sweet lady. The rest of this review is about the Sauce Sandwich @ Subway. If you ask nicely, and there aren’t a lot of people waiting, you can order a Sauce Sandwich. Basically, you pick a bread. Then you toast it — this part is super important. Toast that thang! Then you say No to the cheese: «No, Cheese!» Then you proceed to ask for every sauce and condiment that they have. Every. Including the salt, pepper, and vinaigrette or whatever. No meat — of any kind. Then you pay for it(if they’re nice, they will charge it as a normal $ 5 for the footlong). Then you sit — you gotta sit for this. Then you eat it. It tastes insane. So much sauce. So much flavor. So much evolution of taste. One second it’s sweet, then it’s spicy, then it’s tangy, then it’s gross, then it’s mayo… like whattttt? When you’re done, you should leave. Don’t just sit there all day — that’s creepy. You will likely get diarrhea the next day. Verdict: overall, a great place — pretty clean, nice staff, Subway-like Subway food — try the Sauce Sandwich!

Decent location! Had to get a sandwich before going to the movies… or else it would have been Mickey D’s, which I wouldn’t have been too happy about. Subway took care of dinner before spending oodles of $$$ at the movies. They made my go to sandwich(Subway Melt) just the way I like it, and then I also got cookies to go with to top it off. Decent location with decent service. I’ll be coming back when I’m going to the movies…

Subway is a decent place overall, but whoever is hiring those people serving needs a better screening process. The people were rude. Talking and barely paying attention. They didn’t even bother putting my sandwich in the bag. Awful service!

Kind of a bummer as far as Subways go. This is probably one of the more stingy locations. I always end up getting a 6 inch sub with double meat because there’s just never enough. And even then they are so skimpy on the veggies. I feel like if I’m only getting 2 or 3 things, you can give me a little more or each. But, it’s close to work and better than panera.

Wish I could give less than 1 star — we saw a cockroach run across the floor and hangout during our meal. Nasty. Terrible even for subway.

I say boo to this Subway. I come in a couple mornings hoping to get an egg white sandwich and I don’t think this particular Subway serves egg whites. They seem to never have any whether it’s 8 or 10AM. What’s up with that? Subway is supposed to be the healthier alternative because they have more healthy choices. I normally like Subway but this one limits your choices for breakfast.

I LOVE Subway but this particular branch is staffed with inattentive personnel. I still keep going back though even though I have to yell out my directions for the sandwich at least thrice before getting it done. Eaters, be ware.

Clean, spacious, free wi-fi, $ 2 breakfast sandwiches, courtesous staff and they serve Coke products not Pepsi like @ some subways. Cheap, fresh food that’s good & made to order. What’s better than that?

WORSTSUBWAYEVER! They often don’t participate in promotions. The staff are rude. The worst part is their sloppy sandwich prep. Everything gets piled into the middle and i actually saw all my cheese get plopped on in one sad triangular piece. This is a disgrace to Subway in general, and I wish it wasn’t the only location convenient for me.

I usually love me some good Subway, which is why I was so excited to eat here one day for lunch. However, I was incredibly disappointed with the customer service. They took no care in assembling my sandwich, literally throwing the toppings on and skimping on everything. Our order got passed around to so many people, everyone was rude and pushy, and we ended up with a lousy sandwich. To top it off, not only did they give us the wrong footlong, thus charging us a hefty extra fee, they argued me and told me I was wrong when I tried to object. Customer service was terrible, sandwich was unpalatable, and we left the establishment feeling downright cheated. Boo on you, Tremont St. Subway.

I go to this Subway about 3 times a week. The people know me there. I get a turkey or tuna 6″ for $ 3.45 or $ 3.65(appx). if you go AT lunchtime, the bread is VERY fresh. they give me a hard time anyyy time I want more cucumbers, or more than 3 slices of turkey. Supposedly management comes in and counts how much topping ingredients should be left after a day. good cheap and quick option.

I went to this Subway on my lunch break the other day and it was terrible. The people working were jerks, the bread was old, the meat gray, and the women making my sandwich was too busy talking on her cell phone to listen to what I actually ordered. I will not be eating there any time soon.

Okay this subway was right next to where i used to live and i used to go about once a week until the management changed and all new people were hired. They always give me a hard time when i want more pickles on my sandwich and for some reason have stopped having hearty italian bread. Now it takes about 15 minutes for them to make my sandwich because they ask me a million questions about why i want it that way. Also, one of the men is creepy and takes pictures of me and my friends on his phone and constantly asks for our phone numbers. Go to mass ave instead!

6 inch veggie sub, Sun Chips, and a water for less than $ 5. WHATUP. Subway. you’re my «healthy» option to grabbing a ginormous piece of pizza at NYP. A good filling lunch or a quick nosh if I’m running late to see a show in the Theater District. Subway comes through every time. The same people have been working here since I was in college. They don’t give me the warm fuzzies, but they’re fast, efficient, and nice enough. The tables can sometimes use a little wipe down, but at least it’s not a fast food burger joint so it’s never greasy. Probably my fave Subway in the city. 4 stars for what it is.
