This was a great store, but I went by a few weeks ago for some supplies — and the store has CLOSED! Not for the day. It was gone.
It looks like the website might still be active, if not fully updated…

They’ve been around since 1922, but they’re closing in January, 2006, so you’d better hurry if you want to see a Boston institution before it disappears.

I stumbled on this place by accident. When I walked in the storeowner pulled the fake mustard squirt trick on me and asked if I would like fart powder. I walked out with a lighter that squirted water, a pair of dice that always come up 7 or 11, and a can full of snakes. This place is awesome.
