I had the special, Arroz con Camarones, great choice and all of our party had great food. The margaritas were also excellent. I will be back.

Average«American» Mexican food. Service average, but never refilled chips and had to ask for refills. This is the same Mexican food you can get anywhere in the US. Not worth visiting if you are on vacation and looking for above average Mexican food. Shredded chicken had zero flavor Beef was blan Salsa and Chips were decent. Brought out 2 salsas, but Iguana Mia by far has better chips and salsa.

Again, Nothing great or fancy about this place but everything is on par for what it is. Not the greatest food but at least in the good category.

Amazing margarita! I had the chicken chimichanga with sauce on the side… nobody likes a soggy chimichanga! It was the best one I ever had. Other places make it too salty. My husband had the saviche and really enjoyed it. Service was great, he totally understood I didn’t want a soggy chimichanga. No judgment passed.

5 stars for the excellent service we received, and the food was great too. Everyone we encountered was extremely courteous, and went above and beyond in their pursuit to give us a great experience. The food was very good. They have many unique salsas which are included with your meal. Entrée flavors were on point. However, nothing life-changing. Overall, during our visit, the food was solid, the service was some of the best we’ve experienced at a casual dining establishment.

We were pleasantly surprised on the quality of food here and also the portions! We ordered chips and guac and the bowl of guac that came was HUGE and all very very fresh tasting. The red sangria was so-so but the enchiladas are delicious! The rice is delicious too. The atmosphere is that of an Applebee’s– nothing spectatular but decorated in a Mexican theme that you would expect. I will be back if I am in the mood for Mexican on our next trip to Bonita. Also– our server was extremely attentive and we were served very quickly even though they looked busy.

A little pricey but huge portions and unlimited chips and salsa. Food quality is very good and wait staff attentive. Try the shredded beef burrito

Went for dinner Friday night. Service was very attentive and efficient. They can either get you in and out quickly or if you prefer can slow it down. Hot and mild salsas with fresh warm chips are provided promptly. Good taste. Drinks offered we had the fish bowl style margaritas – very large and potent. They are made from a mix and look pale green. Shrimp cocktails awesome! Buy one get one special. Mexican style with avocado. Entrees just ok. Only Talapia offered for fish. Vegetarian fajitas store bought frozen veggie mix. Not good no effort. Rice and beans very traditional and are good.

Came in for bloody mary’s. Natasha was our bartender and she was really great. Bloody mary’s were also good and so were the chips and salsa.

Sort of ordinary Mexican food place. Feels a bit generic like a big chain restaurant. The chips and salsa they bring aren’t bad and they have a salsa bar. Nothing really wow’ me about this place. I would go back with friends if we all decided to go, but wouldn’t go back otherwise.

Okay let me start this way, refried beans, yellow rice, quacamole, sour cream, lettuce, cost them about 1.25, two soft taco shell wrapped around chicken with a little sauce, cost them about 3.00, 4.25 total cost. Meal price was 15.95. This has to be the most expensive Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been too. Here is a better priced and better tasting option, La Valentina on Lee Blvd, authentic Mexican.

First visit, been looking for a GOOD Tex-Mex place in SWFL. Best I can say about the food is that it is average. Ordered enchiladas mole and while the sauce was alright, there was only two teaspoons of it on my food which made the enchilada dry. My water glass sat on the edge of the table for 10 minutes before I started to get up and find some water. Waitress finally saw me, but I would have liked to had water with the meal to wash the dry food down. My wife liked her chimichanga. Will only go back if they have a two for one coupon as my meal was worth only 8.95, not the 16 dollars it cost. Still looking for a good and reasonable Tex-Mex place.

We typically have dinner here with a pretty large group and they are always accommodating. The food isn’t really my taste and the portions are ridiculously large, but everyone else in the family loves it. Service is always friendly and generally speedy.

Quite high prices for the food quality and portions. Don’t need to return but it wasn’t terrible food. The atmosphere is a bit overdone and the music was so loud… not an amazing experience overall.

Seated n waited on immediately, service wasn’t bad but food was so bland. Chips were stale n salsa was fair. Had chicken burrito combo or #4, it was fair thought cheese on top would’ve beeb Mexican queso but it was Cheddar big disappointment. Expensive for a Mexican place avg lunch is $ 9.99. Won’t go back because there are lots better restaurants in the area not worth the $.

Do your self a favor go to Taco Bell unless you have the entire afternoon to have lunch. The food was horrible. One entrée was missing most of the ingredients. The waitress lacked experience and the prices were extremely high.

The Margarita and the Shirley Temple were fantastic drinks. The chile relleno was spicy, cheesy goodness. The ground beef tacos were similar to any number of fast food tacos. I enjoyed the avocado tostada immensely. The plates were huge, the prices were a little steep, the staff friendly.

Initially, I was super disappointed! I asked for a Tequila menu and was told that there was none. The waitress couldn’t list the tequilas so I walked up to the bar. They had approximately a dozen, with some familiar favorites. I asked how much for a shot of Centenario Gold, which I like, and they wanted $ 9.50! WTF, Senior Tequila? This is an outrage! I went back to the table and fortunately the waitress told us about 2-for-1 Lime margaritas and beer. I ordered two Negra Modelos, which is he best Mexican beer in my opinion. I munched on the chips and spicy salsa whilst I perused the menu. We ordered and the food came out super fast. The portions were large and I could not finish my meal. In fact, no one could. The margaritas were massive, too. Overall, people enjoyed their food. My dad was happy that the bill was under a $ 100 for 5 people not including tip. The food was good enough for everyone’s satisfaction. The only real problem is the misleading name and the lack of a tequila menu/selection.
