Had lunch there today. Was greeted at the door and seated promptly. Chips and salsas were delivered first. Sauces are delicious and chips were fresh. I ordered a Coke and entrée— three tacos with black beans and rice. Entrée come out pretty fast. Everything was delicious. Good portions. Nice server. Good job!

This is one of the better places to eat when I am down here for work. There is not much, if anything, that has ever been wrong. For starters they bring a tray of salsas that you can mix and match from mild to really hot. Stir in a cup of sour cream if you like and you have something I have never seen before that sets Iguana Mias apart from other Mexican food places. They have a very aggressive happy hour if that is what you are looking for also. I always get the chicken suits burrito and have never been disappointed in the size or the way it come out.

Here’s how my first visit to this place started-​walked in and saw half-​price beer. Nice start! I asked for a PBR, normally $ 2.50, so $ 1.25 tonight. The waiter says «we don’t have that.» WTF?! Not a good start.
I had the flautas or taquitos and they were okay, a little overdone. The were dressed with some fresh veggies and guacamole, which was nice.
The best part is the chips and salsa that comes immediately when you get there. I swear the chips are each half of a tortilla and there are a variety of salsas/​sauces.
I may give them one more chance and try something else.

Das Iguana Mia ist eine Kette, welche auch viel in Fernsehwerbung investiert. Wurde von Freunden an meinem Geburtstag eingeladen. Wusste nicht, daß man an seinem Geburtstag dort dann auch umsonst ißt. Haken an der Sache: Man muss einen riesengrossen Sombrero aufsetzen und es werden Polaroidfotos gemacht.
Das Essen war in Ordnung und die Getränke auch. Jedoch gibt es in Fort Myers wesentlich bessere mexikanische Restaurants.

Mexikanische Kette. Alles etwas lieblos und überladen, aber o.k. Waren mittags da. Preislich aber echt günstig: 26 USD für 2 Personen mit Getränken. Wir hatten Burrito und Taco Salad, dazu Nachos mit verschiedenen Dips. Von daher: Wer auf die schnelle etwas günstiges mexikanisches essen möchte, ist hier gut aufgehoben!
