This place closed about a month ago. Too bad it was cute but didnt have any thing different and frankly the complimentary chips and salsa were poor. We live up the street so this is sad and we would have liked to have seen it prosper

This is definitely an authentic spot, worth checking out if you appreciate authentic Mexican food. They represent various regions, including Oaxaca (Tlayudas!) and Jalisco (birria – which is a specialty – this is stewed goat – definitely worth trying if you like meat, unlike me, a pescetarian…)
I was a little disappointed that they could not modify the tlayuda and just serve it without meat – it may have just been a misunderstanding with the server – she just seemed uncertain. But she was very attentive and well-​intentioned.
This is a great place to go with a group – they have lots of large tables. All of the Diego y Frida photos, and the colors were very charming.
