This place is great. Husband and I popped in for mani/​pedis three days before Christmas, no wait. We had our rambunctious 3 year old with us and the owner kindly took care of her for us while we were being worked on, talk about service. The salon is clean and bright with a wide assortment of varnish colours. The job they did was superb, husband and I both commented on the quality work. A mani pedi will cost £45 but that includes a proper nail clean up, scrub, massage and varnish.

Images is less than a 2 minute walk from my flat, so although I don’t absolutely love it there… I head there for a pedi once every 3 – 4 weeks. The women who frequent this salon seem to enjoy multi-​tasking while getting their nails done so don’t expect a relaxing appointment. The last time I was there, I nearly lost my mind at a woman who had her mobile volume on high and insisted on texting throughout her entire pedicure (the calls/​texting is a common occurrence at this place). You get what you pay for though… the pedis are relatively cheap at £30. Head in on a Saturday or Sunday AM within minutes of opening and you usually can score a quiet and peaceful and spa-​like experience. I do wish that they massaged your feet/​legs a bit longer, but my toes look good when I leave.
I got my eyelashes done here once… and actually ripped them all of within two hours of getting the applied. Very unnatural looking (think Lil Kim style). Head to Images for a cheap and decent pedi, but go elsewhere for the lashes!
