Tranquility Nail and Beauty Salon

Just moved here from Washington and have been looking for a nail salon with the feel of home — big enough to handle walk-​ins, clean, massage pedicure chairs, nice vibe, etc. Was walking Kensington Church St to look at a couple of places and went in to see. Got a very nice mani/​pedi. Staff was great. Also got a complimentary 5 minute massage and I think I’ll be back for the real thing soon — the masseuse was great. I think I’ve found my regular place. Prices are higher than DC but not out of sight.

Please read my first review. I have updated this review to five stars because they are just superb. First class treatment all the way. I also spoke to the manager who was very appreciative of constructive feedback on how to help him improve his relationships and service to his customers. I noticed every customer including myself was treated with the utmost respect and equal sense of importance. The quality of goods used and services rendered by the skilled professionals there are the best in class. It is an extremely clean place which is managed by what is seems like an anal retentive OCD clean person, which I love. Am I in heaven… They also offer threading, and my girl Shabina from there is the best ever! The massage service there also looks great so you can easily fall into a time black hole when you come here…
I have been around the world in no-​frills and luxury services, and I have to say, Van, the manager, is a top notch owner/​manager for a beauty salon. I wish there was a clone of you in the USA and in Switzerland. Only then, yes, life will be perfect… ;-)

I LOVE this place. I’ve been going religiously for the past two years, since it opened. The team are great. No matter who does your nails you will be impressed. Shellac manicures easily last three weeks. It is very clean, friendly and they always offer you a drink. Van, the manager is lovely. Really friendly and always tries his best to fit you in, but best to make an appointment on the weekends as can get busy with all their regulars. Recently started having my eyebrows threaded there, after years of going to BLINK in Selfridges, really really good. Moving to NYC and going to miss this place ! k

I’m a NYC beauty snob, who is enamored with the chain Dashing Diva in NYC. For me manis/​pedis are not just for special occasions, but instead, I see them as maintenance. Finding a good place in London has been an arduous task but these guys were pretty good. I got a solid mani/​pedi in under and hour (I loved that they worked on both mani and pedi at the same time). My hands and feet are pretty, soft and neat looking. Great job from these guys– I’ll totally be back.
Cost is relative to a high end place in NYC (Dashing Diva) and the quality is pretty comparable. This place totally has my recco!

This place is fantastic — great staff, so clean and fab massage chairs. The manis and pedis are brilliant.

This place is amazing! If you’re looking for a clean, nice, and trendy salon, this is the place to go. The staff is super nice and friendly and they offer you tea when you first get seated. They do a great job with manicures, pedicure, eye brow threading, and waxing so they are the perfect full-​service salon. A definite must for anyone looking for a nice salon to get pampered at. Their prices are pretty high, but in general mani/pedi’s are more expensive in London than in the States, so compared to other London salons, their prices are reasonable.

Totally clean, very nice staff and no appt needed.
Much better than Julie Nails @ Notting Hill Gate which kind of grosses me out.

I’d walked by Tranquility numerous on the way home from the tube station and finally stopped in yesterday after realising that my unpolished toes and blistered feet were simply not ready for London’s long awaited warm weather and cute shoes!
The salon is truly one of the cleanest I’ve ever been to, the service was good and not rushed and, unlike most salons, their super relaxing massage chairs are brand spankin’ new! I left Tranquility after my £28 pedicure ready to show off my toesies in a hot pair of open toes shoes. Can’t wait to head back to try out a massage or facial.
