What a pleasant surprise. After reading nothing but negative reviews, I took my chances and booked an appointment. I called in at 4:30pm on a Sunday, asking if I might be squeezed in. Although they closed at 5pm, the woman was kind enough to stay open later to accomodate me. She did a briliant job with my acrylic refill, was efficient, kind, and very thorough. I highly recommend giving this place a chance! A lot can change in two years. I know I will be coming back!

This Nail spa was a big disappointment. Staff sitting around eating food, talking in another language and generally laughing out loud(felt uncomfortable). Generally not in any way focussing on service and when I asked for a certain foot to be looked at further(with those blades) she couldn’t do it! Despite every other spa I’ve visited easily using one. All in all. The entire staff looked like they just didn’t want to be there. Maybe I caught them on a bad day. But I won’t be risking a second visit to find out! Avoid!

Surly, surly, surly. How much does it cost to smile? Every nail technician in there(about five when I was there) wore a permanent moue. Walked in with a girlfriend to get manicures done, Shellac for me, normal polish manicure for my friend. Ok, it was the last hour open on a dark, cold Sunday but I think if you are going to work in the service industry you should at least crack a small smile… The manicure was rushed and the paint job imprecise. The technician didnt even ask me what colour i wanted, she just picked out a red. When it came to painting I was like, «I dont like that colour» and the technician went off to get other colours in a huff! Weird. No moisturiser, no massage, cuticles were picked at which gave me terrible hangnails later on. Bad job overall. Cheaper than most but now I know why… My girlfriend’s normal manicure was fine. I think I paid £40 for my shellac and my friend £17 for her normal manicure.
