I used the salon five times but was very disappointed after my last visit because my hair was burned which I have to cut in another salon and pay again. Also went to Aveda shop for advice and they agree with me that my hair was burned and I have to to change my shampoo and mask. I was very upset because the hairdresser didn’t offer any complementary treetment. I find another hairdresser which advice me to cut my hair shorter and don’t colour my hair for four or five months. I have vary thin hair why I went to Emperium, because of recommendation of Avada salon. I am very upset, because I have to pay for treatments every month in salon to help my hair to recover to not to look dry in the ends. The salon give me the feedback that my hair look like that, because of stress. I use the Aveda products since last year and I have high opinion of the shop which I visited in regulary besics. The another hairdresser advice me that Emperium hairdresser use the product to long on my hair, why they look like that. I payed £100 for hair which know look terrible and I need to look after them by pay for tretments. Not sure if I will be able to have long hair in the future. I trust the hairdresser with advice what I can do with my hair to look natural. My last visit was in January. The last hairdresser advice me to not to colour my hair for four months and keep cutting and put treatment which cost me a lot.

What keeps me coming along? Harriet a lovely girl who is quiet and gentle and interested. She was the junior but she is now up a step. I take the new junior who is very good at washing your hair and getting the soap out round the back of your neck — behind ears etc(the times I have been to hairdressers and I don’t feel this has been done). I just have the organic colour here having had a few bad experiences with reactions to dyes(stingying head all night, shakey feeling and a headache) I decided it was not great for the body to absorb this stuff. I am grey so the colour lasts about 3 weeks but for a repeat T bar its only about £25. I sometimes leave it longer and touch up with the hair mascara pen. had a slanty bob here it was ok with Harriet. but as I don’t get hair cut often not sure. Its a nice salon but they do play the same old music in there, it can be peaceful but it can be very chatty and loud in this way between the other cutter and her regular customers. I have been a bit late and they have always been accomodating they obviously allow enough time between appointments… unless it is a Saturday so I have never missed an appointment due to this. Another point sometimes I have been to the hairdresser and they over fiddle and brush and push on your head — it drives me nuts. this does not happen here thank goodness! There are massage chairs and you get a lovely head massage too. Aveda products are great and all in all I think its good. but they need to get Marie Claire magazines! Its always Tatler or OK,… The prices are reasonable but ask before you buy.
