This is a nice little framers tucked away off Western Road. Upper North Street is a very arty little street with some pubs with great character and some interesting surprising shops, so I wasn’t surprised to find this shop was very reasonable, have a good eye for frames and are very helpful over the phone (when I was trying to order the biggest frame ever and couldn’t find anywhere in Brighton who would do it!). I recommend a proper framers for the decent artwork in your home, you need to keep the glass away from the picture and not let acid get to it.

You can never have too many frames… although it does require a massive amount of pictures. Out of character for a Brighton based shop, the Framing Studio is a very ‘functional’ business, providing a limited product, but providing it well.
I came here when trying to make a present for a friend of mine, I was impressed to find that the staff were knowledgeable and accomodating as I tried poorly to explain what I needed.
I ended up buying a wooden frame, abot 16“x16″ for £25, which i felt was pretty reasonable.
