Quiet possibly the best meal I have ever had! Having eaten in a number of High quality /m’star restaurants in London, Edinburgh and Paris this year alone 10 course tasting menu with matching wine — £120 per head Staff are attentive, friendly, welcoming, professional. Sommelier was wonderful and as expected knowledgable. If you are ever in Brighton and love your food… eat here!

24 St George’s brings a smile to my face and happy memories. My girlfriend and I ate her a few months ago when we first started dating and she was in Brighton for a conference That’s when she discovered that I don’t dine randomly but rather research places which have a good reputation or have an interesting looking menu. 24 St George’s was probably a bit of each and the menu looked interesting, so off we headed into the one of Brighton’s more colourful districts, Kemptown The 15 minute walk from the pier helped to work up a nice appetite and it was a pleasant stroll by the sea. The restaurant bridges several shops and the staff were top notch. Obviously well versed in and proud of the food coming out of the kitchen, they will direct you if you need any clarification on the menu The style is modern European with a focus on flavour but enough technical wizardry to retain a wow factor. The menu is seasonal and our meal just hummed along. Not an everyday meal for sure and I happen to know that Michelin have visited. I think that the food is certainly on track though I hope that the décor won’t hold them back — it’s lovely enough but not as high end as the food. If I could be so cheeky as to offer a small word of advice to the kitchen, a tiny bit of simplication to dishes, perhaps taking off one ingredient, would help to further refine the flavour profile Strangely but happily, I think their signature dish which has remained on the menu is their mojito palate cleanser. It may seem expensive but trust me and get it. It was cleanse your palate and bring a broad smile to your face as it does so I notice that they’ve added a tasting menu to the their repertoire. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll be back for sure

What a lovely understated yet charming restaurant. We went here for a casual dinner last week and we weren’t disappointed. The ambiance is low key(it’s quite a small restaurant) but the service was impeccable. There weren’t many things on the menu(always a good sign) but what they did have hit the spot. My starter, a pumpkin and mushroom lasagne was amazing, really rich and delicious. The main of beef was equally lovely. I particularly liked the free appetizers(especially the mini scotch egg!). I would definitely go back here and highly recommend.
