Breeze Brasserie

This place may not look like much from the outside, but once you get inside it’s a great atmosphere and really cozy! We went there for dinner and as most meals were around £10 we didn’t have very high expectations. To our surprise we got served a beautiful meal that also tasted amazing and in any other place I would have had to pay double the price for that standard! The service was also excellent, friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely go back!

My review is basically on the poor service my friends and I received when we came to Breeze on a Monday night for dinner. We were visiting from out of town and looking for a place that served dinner in the middle of the week. Apparently these are hard to come by in Brighton!
We walked through the door and the waiter told us to wait to see if the kitchen was still serving dinner. I didn’t understand why they would still be open if there is a possibility that they weren’t serving dinner anymore! He came back out of the kitchen and agreed to seat us. We placed our order and then the waiter disappeared again for a while and basically didn’t return until our food was ready. The food itself was pretty tasty, but it wasn’t anything mind blowing.
Part of the reason that people go out to dinner is for the food, but if the service is horrible, then what’s the point?! Based on the service, this would not be a place that I would want to come back to.

Lovely restaurant and pub, delicious roast though on the pricey side (£4 for a pint!, £12 for a Sunday roast, £6.50 for a dessert). Recommended nonetheless!
