Starbucks

Je n’ai pas trop pour habitude de noter les Starbucks mais là je vais faire une exception parce que je l’ai trouvé plus sympathique que les autres !
Déjà il est grand ! Y’a un paquet de places, de chaises, de fauteuils, etc. Ensuite on nous a servi nos Mocha dans des mugs plutôt que dans les gobelets en carton habituels ! C’était classe !

Walked in, knowing I would not be über happy. But this beats everything.
Staff doesn’t care, nor do they pretend.
I asked for:
–green tea,
–one bag instead of two,
–largest paper/​to-​go cup,
–browny type of thingy.
I got:
–cinnamon like tea,
–two bags,
–medium to-​stay cup,
–lemon square thingy.
What made it good? The lemon square thingy! :)

Pretty chill Starbucks, enough space and never to busy. Friendly staff and great products. They even have a book exhange where you can dump your old books and read books from others. Good idea :)

There’s a sign saying this Starbucks is looking for artist or musicians to perform, so all of you artist, contact them for a gig. With that as a temporary or on going note.
Yes, this place is pretty big, not so much meant for I guest order your coffee and get out. But a nice place to hangout. Abundant amount of seating in several sections. The first is there is outside seating, the second is a really large wooden rectangular conference table for studying or reading the newspaper right in the middle, you can seat like 20 people around this huge table, couches with tables on the side, a couple more in the back and there’s a backyard that I didn’t notice open but saw seats there too. It has small WC (restrooms). I like it’s modern décor.

It’s the same as all Starbucks: E1.90 for the brewed coffee, special coffee is like E5.00, miscellaneous snacks, E3.00−4.00 drinks, Amsterdam engraved cups are E10.00 and accessories for sale. BTW, you can get E1.00 drinks (water/​juice) from the Albert Heijn instead of E3.00-E4.00, you’re paying for the ambiance or brand. However, I do admit Starbucks does have good aroma coffee.
One thing about Starbucks in The Netherlands is that they have the Espresso brownies and in the States they have the Double/​Triple Chocolate brownies, there’s a huge difference in that cocoa taste where the Espresso brownies trump the X2−3 Chocolate brownies.
It closes early like at 7pm.

Well yet another Starbucks location has sprung up on the Overtoom. This location is rather huge with a wide open floor plan. There is a huge communal table in the middle which looks good for long study sessions. Not the most exciting location but certainly nice and big. Coffee dance party?
Every time I have been there has been dead, no patrons. Unilocal to the rescue!
