I met this lovely place searching for a good place to eat next to our hotel(which has an expensive breakfast). It’s a small place with a rustic decoration and just one concern: serve good coffee I asked for a capuccino that was really really good. To eat, the salami sandwich was an delicious option, with a very soft and tasty bread. The staff was very nice too

They take their coffee very seriously so you might have to wait a few extra minutes while they brew each cup individually. It’s well worth the wait. The owner and young man who usually mans the operation are both extremely friendly and happy to discuss the finer points of any and all aspects of coffee. A comfortable little café totally worth visiting if you’re doing the coffee circuit in Amsterdam.

Amazing coffe and salami sandwich. Went here for Saturday breakfast to get away from bad expensive hotel breakfast. Friendly staff and cool interior

I noticed this place last night and was excited to try it this morning. They made me a lovely latte; usually I pile sugar in to make them tolerable, but this was so nice it barely needed sugar at all. Just the right balance of milk and coffee — really well done. I ended up buying a bag of their coffee beans, which they are roasting themselves, to take back to my coffee enthusiast partner, so that he can make some lovely lattes for us at home!

Wow. We just stumbled along this place as we were in search of reasonably priced food. They serve the most amazing sandwiches. They buy two loafs of specialty bread made down the street and when they run out, they’re out. The bread was thick and moist. We had a prosciutto sandwich and a goat cheese and fig version — both excellent. The cappuccino was better than the one we paid twice as much for at the Rijkmuseum. The prices here are extremely reasonable. As I write this I’m staring at some pretty amazing looking pies and cakes …
