If you don’t dare to pay 6.2 € for a(bad) coffee and a(regular) croissant in a beautiful(but small and noisy) café without Wifi, that’s your place!

This café is located in a busy street but it isn’t loud, sit outside and enjoy their delicious coffee. They also have freshly baked croissants and juicy pies!

That was a tasty latte. My caramel waffle however was just ok– this of course did not stop me from eating it all ;-)

Very good coffee, nice vibe. Love the outdoor seating. Pastries and food in general is not more than OK. The 4th star(wanted to give 3 actually) is because I really loved the coffee. Stands up to Italian standard.

A good friend of mine recommended this place in a far-from-home land which I was visiting and had no idea where I could grab a coffee. I’m looking at you Unilocal! Just 2 blocks from our hotel was the lovely, charming, PACKED, Koffie Salon. Sitting on a corner this place was busy, even on a weekend afternoon. Perfect place for a coffee date. The staff was friendly and spoke perfect English. We had 2 flat whites and 2 chocolate croissants. The nice lady behind the counter forgot one croissant, and when I reminded her she apologized and looked visibly embarrassed. I told her it was fine — the place was super busy, so it easily slipped her mind. The flat white(steamed milk over a single or double shot of espresso) was delicious! The chocolate croissant — even better! We sat outside and did some people watching — EVERYONE seems to know each other and greet each other with hugs. The little neighborhood seemed like the kind of place we could move to. They have some tables outside but we opted for the long bench instead. There was seating inside, but we wanted to enjoy the lovely weather. Great place to get your coffee fix when in Amsterdam.

I absolutely loved this place. My husband and I were in need of a pick-me-upper/warm-me-upper while on vacation in Amsterdam. After reading the awesome reviews we decided to check this place out. The place is small, and it was fairly packed on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered two flat whites and two chocolate croissants. The lady at the registered was quiet nice and the atmosphere inside is very relaxed. However, the place is small so It might be hard to find a place to sit. We decided to sit outside and enjoy some al fresco snacking. I absolutely loved the flat white, but man did I pay the price. I couldnt fall asleep until around 2:30 am. Im usually knocked out by 10 p.m. YES, im blaming the flat white… but it was so worth it! The crossaints were amazingly delicious, and I really liked the soft, syrupy texture of the chocolate. I’ve had some chocolate croissants with hard, solid-like chocolate and the soft warm chocolate is so much better. I definitely recommend this place to anyone in Amsterdam looking to have some good coffee and good snacks. We didnt get to try anything else, but all the pastries looked delightful.

Good, if not great coffee here. The beautiful building, décor and way the coffee is served is authentically stylish and well worth the visit to see.

Small but nice and charming coffee salon on the corner of Huygenstraat. Atmosphere quite and reserve. Grab your newspaper and relax with an average nice cup of hot tea or coffee here. It’s the kind of place you can tuck yourself in the corner and enjoy your newspaper or book.

Koffie salon is a cool place to drink coffee, i’m comming to here for 4 years and it’s a nice place to be there coffee is really good. There are all kinds of people comming to here. The interior is art deco, i like that. The best day to come to here is on a early sunday after a pair of cups, the best thing to do is go to Leidseplein and shop.

there are so many better coffee places in amsterdam. the coffee is drinkable but not impressive and their pastries were not that good. they were kinda dry. i have came here to give second and third chances yet still not impressed at all. sorry, koffie salon, you got too many competitors!

The atmosphere of the Koffie Salon is very nice. The coffee I felt was average. The croissants though were very tasty. Try them with butter and jam!

A good spot in the area and I had a rather good cappuccino. The café is small but has plenty of outdoor seating, which is always a plus. It had a classic European café look to it and the staff was very friendly.

This is the best coffee in town. Hands down. The pastries are always warm(mmm, chocolate croissant) and on the weekends the place is PACKED. Well worth the wait for such amazing coffee. My cappuccinos are always like a party in a cup.

I used to live very close to here and would stop by for coffee in the mornings. This is a very ‘Amsterdamer’ crowd and caters to the young and old, suit and carpenter. If you go by on a sunny day you’ll see people sitting outside, basking in the sun, and enjoying their coffee. Coffee, espresso, cappuccino are all very good. their cinnamon croissants are also tasty. A sure fire win if you are in the area.
