Pizzeria Sicilia

War auf einem Wochenend-​Kurzurlaub zweimal abends dort zum Essen. Wirkt von außen eher schlicht, aber der Hunger auf italienisches überzeugte. Bei gutem Wetter kann man sehr gut auch draußen sitzen und speisen. Die nahe Straße ist zwar relativ stark befahren, stört aber nicht sehr. Die Karte bietet eine Vielzahl an überwiegend italienischen Nudel– und Pizzagerichten sowie auch einigen anderen Gerichten. Bei Nudeln und Pizza liegt man in der Regel bei unter 10 EUR, sind aber nach eigener Erfahrung sehr gut und reichhaltig. Fleischgerichte sind jedoch relativ teuer (20 EUR und aufwärts), über Qualität und Quantität kann ich keine Aussage treffen. Der Service ist auf jeden Fall sehr schnell und auch freundlich.

This is a great place to sneak away too, from the RAI and terrible convention food. It is not too far away plus if you do not like this place there are a bunch of other restaurants to choose from on this block.
I ate here a couple of times. I would highly recommend the pizza and the pasta. It is so nice to be in Europe and get some fantastic Italian food. There is outdoor seating, which is always fun… it gives me something to do while I am waiting for my food. I also had a very nice red chianti wine too… it definately warmed me up in the crisp Amsterdam air.
The staff was also very nice too.
