Ridiculously over priced. Just 3 meals to takeaway, no drinks or starters… € 67… Speechless. They charge extortionate amounts for the main dishes and have the audacity not to include rice. Their online menu only shows the meals and no prices otherwise we would not have even ordered! Food was certainly nothing spectacular whatsoever and did not reflect the prices.

Food was extremely good, very tasty, could easily identify the dishes. Each had it’s own individual flavour. Service was very good and quick. restaurant was clean and we’ll managed. highly recommended

Good food, good service, even a nice little quasi-patio out front that is great in nice weather. We ate there with my 1-year old daughter today, and while it was a challenge to keep her occupied while we ate, she was able to crawl around on the quasi-patio a bit, but not too far or else she’d get squashed by pedestrians, or further on by bicyclists. It helped that it was around 5pm so the restaurant was pretty empty. The waiter even offered to heat up her baby food, and offered us a moist hot towel to clean her hands after she had been digging in the dirt of a nearby planter. On the downside, boy howdy was this place expensive. Minimum cost for a dish here is around 20 euros. Many dishes ran in the neighborhood of 60 – 100 euros. If I had known how expensive it was I may not have come with a baby, but we were in the neighborhood to visit Ijs palace Venetie, so we checked this place out. I’m glad we did. As for the food, it was very flavorful. I had the hot and sour soup, which was actually hot and sour, unlike what I’m used to in the States. I also had the curry prawns, which thank God came without heads and eyes. I ordered it ‘very spicy’ but it was hardly spicy at all. The waiter brought out some chili oil with sesame seed, and offered me that as a solution to increase the spiciness level. I was delighted that I had the choice of rice, fried rice, noodles, and rice noodles to accompany the dish. I chose the rice noodles, and they came in a little covered dish and were mixed with peas, corn, onions, and some other spices and vegetables. I also had the hot sake, which was clean and refreshing. My husband had the trout, which was breaded and served with a fruity sort of sauce. It actually had a fishy taste, instead of being a bland warm fish substance. Both dishes were served ‘family style’ in the middle of the table, so we could share. I would definitely go again when in the neighborhood. And maybe next time we’ll get a babysitter. :)

Real traditional Chinese food accompanied by excellent quality ingredients and superb service. Prices are high but no compromise in quality.

This place is right next to the RAI Convention center and it is a really great Chinese restaurant. My bf and I ordered the Mapao tofu and the spicy shrimp. The food was plentiful and the shrimp had such a clean spicy taste to it. I would definitely come back again if I was craving Chinese food in Amsterdam!(btw bf comes here to this restaurant once a year since he has been going to IBC for the past 5⁄6 years and he comes here at least once every time: P)
