Feduzzi, Feduzzi, Feduzzi, why did I not find you before? Without knowing I stumbled upon a lovely little Italian traiteur that made me feel like I was in Italy for just a while. The food: fabulous. Real authentic, pure quality products, and that you can really taste! It’s possible to order a bread and a salad or pasta on the side, which they heat up and place nicely on a plate for you. Comparing that with going to a restaurant serving the exact same food, the price is really ok. But ok, it’s not restaurant and you should rather consider it as a nice way to have a proper lunch(which, with a 1-year old, we tend to do more often than going out for diner). Go and discover this place!

In the humble opinion of the Shallow Man, the best Lasagne in Amsterdam is sold at Feduzzi. Added to that they have delicious freshly made pasta with well seasoned sauces, homemade pesto and a selection of quality ham and tasty sandwiches, all of which are available as take away options. If you love quality Italian food, I can’t recommend this place enough.

It is great to have this busy Italian market/deli in the neighborhood. They have a wonderful selection of meats, cheeses, olive oils and pre-made hot and cold dishes. This is the place to go if you are cooking an Italian meal and need the right ingredients. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I agree with other reviewers that it’s a little bit expensive, but it’s worth it for the quality. I like to bring visitors here for lunch after they arrive in Amsterdam after a long flight because Feduzzi’s has a little bit of everything.

Great place to stop in for a sandwich on the go, or sit down and have a more relaxed experience. The prepared food to take away and put in the oven yourself is extra delicious and great for those nights when you just can’t get away from work in time to prepare a thought-out meal(though a tiny bit pricey — a lasagna meal for 5 was 45 euros). The staff are friendly and happily speak English or Dutch to you. Also fresh-frozen pasta and other non-perishable Italian goods are for sale here as well. Most handy is that they’re open til 19:00! I like to stop in here as often as possible.

I love this place, the people are friendly, the food is always good, and there are good vegetarian options especially if cheese and eggs are ok. It feels spacious, is well lit and has wifi. You can eat there or take out.

Agree with comrade that Feduzzi is great, although slightly on the expensive side. Even though you’ll pay for quality, I consider it five stars! Their own import prosciutto is the best in Amsterdam — very smooth, light on the salt and literally melts in your mouth! They also make very good sandwiches — interesting combinations, lusciously garnished and served on their own ciabatta. They also have salads, pasta, dessert, wine and much more — all available to eat right there or to go.

It was nice to find an Italian delicatessen in Amsterdam, even a place with a limited range and high-ish prices. I’ve bought good fresh pecorino, mozzarella di bufala, mascarpone, proscuitto and salame picante here, all of which were high quality and(better yet, for Amsterdam!) available. There’s a fridge full of fresh uncooked pasta, including lobster ravioli, which were very tempting, but again, a little pricey. They also sell Italian coffee beans and serve espresso too, but I’ve not yet purchased any of these things. The shop is very open and airy, and there are sufficient staff that you get served quickly, although I thought service went a bit further than fast or efficient and had turned into brusque. Despite the prices and the slightly unwelcoming vibe, I go back regularly to get my fix of Italian delicacies!
