As one reviewer already put it, this is a perfect choice for brunch. It’s a really tight space, inhabited almost exclusively by girls(really, I was 3 times there and I was the only guy, there must be a sorority nearby). They have good scones and cakes, which are served with generous butter/jam doses. It’s really weird but at some point we ordered some fancy tea that I swear it smelled like chouriço. This of course confused all of my senses, seeing tea, knowing it’s tea, but smelling smoked ham. No help at the end, when the flavour was really ham-tea. a new creation! The space itself is also quite nice and I really liked the artsy pattern they had on the wall, with the place’s name. They’re located in an area that does not have that many cafés(or at least I did not come across them yet) so drop by for a visit :)

Though it is a bit pricey for what it offers, the cozy atmosphere and killer cappuccinos are what keep me coming back. They have a solid selection of brunch(a rarity in Amsterdam) and a ton of healthy and unique choices like the roasted eggplant salad with chickpeas and pesto which I thought was great. Be prepared to rub elbows but it’s worth it.

Great selections of teas, special hearthy soups much beyond the ubiquitous pumpkin soup, and also sandwiches and snacks. Always busy and a bit cramped and noisy at lunch time but it’s part of the charm of the place.

Brunch isn’t big in Amsterdam, and the few places that offer it can be hit and miss. This one is solidly a hit. What’s great about it is that not only is the food delicious, but they put a unique Amsterdam twist on their offerings… Like the Dutch version of French toast, or the High Tea that includes several types of cheese and pickles. The warm sandwiches are divine, they’ve got incredible smoothies, and their own blends of tea. Both health conscious granola fanatics and apple-pie-with-extra-slagroom types can dine here quite happily. Not to mention its a cosy place, with cute quirky décor as well. Hands down my favourite breakfast spot in Amsterdam.

Sandwiches and homemade teas here are OK. The ginger lemonade tea always seems a bit tasteless — like they just put a chunk of ginger and lemon in some ice water. Not a lot of tea taste happening. Decent patio spot when the sun is out. The scones here I really like. One thing I don’t like however is that when they bring out the scones, they give you a plate with a bottle of jam and lemon curd and it looks very unsanitary because it’s communal use. Note to the owners — please serve individual portions of the jam and curds so you don’t have customers messing with the bottles and then having other customers use the same bottle.
