Reasonable prices, good coffee. Not very clean or fancy. Would not suggest lunch but just a coffee.

Currently, it is freezing cold in the Netherlands. And there is always an excuse for a hot beverage, even if you already downed 5 cups of caffeine just two doors down.
I was greeted by a lovely Dutch barista who informed me that coffee shops are not a Dutch thing. The Dutch either drink coffee at home or work, but the trend is catching on. Either way, she was very nice and chatty and proceeded to make me a latte (3 Euros) with love and care. My idea of being a vegan has been thrown out the window since I arrived here.
The coffee beans could use a bit of work, but otherwise, no complaints. This is definitely a nice spot to sit and have a cuppa while chatting with other people. And I spied a big beautiful Buddha statue in the back…

Enjoyed a big cup of coffee and a — not a word I use too often — yummy breakfast pie. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and reasonable prices. Fueled me up for my day ahead in Amsterdam! Menu was in English and staff was fluent. People seem genuinely friendly here and willing to speak and conduct business in English without attitude. It’s well appreciated but I should learn how to say thank you in Dutch!
