The service here can be a hit or miss. Sometimes they take your order and you have your coffee in your hand in a flash, but more often than not you find yourself standing inline (alone) watching 2 girls taking their time behind the counter; socializing, changing music tracks, or polishing glasses before even giving you eye contact. Customer service is not their priority. Yet, occasionally you get positively surprised!

OK today we are checking out of the first hotel, and moving into a rental apartment within the canals, near Prinsengracht. Have a bit of time to kill inbetween «check-​out» and «check-​in», so lugged some baggage on the scooter and stopped over at the Coffee Company «Muidergracht» for an hour or two.
So far so good, got a nice bench to sit at, plugged my laptop in, and am surfing it up. Cortado in hand, ready to do some damage! (well until my hour of «free» wifi runs out) :P
