Keep yourself hydrated with a refreshing frozen cappuccino or have some lemon-verbena tea if you already had surpassed the recommended dose of caffeine per day. The downstairs reading table makes for a great work-place. If you do not want to be disturbed by the street noises, or walk-ins, you can go and sit upstairs.

Nice coffee spot in De Pijp. The first floor in quite small, but there is a very nice room upstairs. I really like those big study tables, and the counters along the windows all around the room. Definitely a nice place to come and work on your laptop. There is free WiFi, the password is changed every day and appears on your receipt. Surprisingly, they have a quite nice selection of teas. That’s really fortunate, because I am afraid I don’t really like their coffee… too bad for a place called *coffee* company but that’s how I feel about it… They also have food, sandwiches and pastries, which are average. Fine if you’re hungry, but not worth going there on purpose. Overall I would recommend this place as a spot to go and work or study upstairs. You will not be bothered because you stay there all day(although you should purchase several beverages, as is customary everywhere).

I was looking for a place for lunch with wifi and popped in here on a whim on my only day in Amsterdam. Wow! Not only was the grilled goat cheese and portabello mushroom sandwich on desem bread(€ 3.5) amazing, the staff was incredibly helpful and left me to my wireless device for almost an hour. I had a hazelnut cappucinno(€ 3.80 for a medium) delightful — and am now making my way thru a decaf latte(€ 4 for a large) All were good value for money! Especially in Amsterdam. I kind of ran out of cash and they helped me swipe my card that didn’t work the previous day so I could get a divine piece of cherry cheesecake. That was the only thing that was a bit pricey @ € 3.20, but it was worth it to me. So if you’re in the neighborhood of Albert Cuyp market, plan on a light lunch here, you won’t be disappointed! And if the wether’s nice, sit and people watch at a table outside. I did that from the inside as it’s typical Feb. weather here: gray and cold.

This a cute Coffee Company, located in the lively Ferdinand Bolstraat. I like how cozy the CC is. Upstairs there are tables, window seats but also a very big low couch. The staff is also friendly and they sell several non-food items like slow drippers, kettles and books about coffee. Since this is just a Coffee Company there is not much new to tell you. You’ve probably been at a CC location and they are all quite alike. But when I go to the CC I know what to expect and sometimes that is just what I need. Their coffee is good and they are always nearby.
